I was never into Boxing, but I can appreciate him for what he was. I got to watch some clips and it's amazing how fluid he was.

D, gonna get back to you on a knife after hitting the beach. X is onto something. Maybe I can find the dough under the couch cushions, lol!

Finally back to relax. I was up early and participated in a local Relay for Life event. We do it every year along with friends of hers. There are team shirts, team pavilions, raffles, good food and music! Got to show off the guns !:p

hope all survived the heat.. we are having mid 90s here, nothing like when I was in AZ, but still hot as feck.

^ Bill Murray is awesome. I like the Life Aquatic, it was kind of sad but hilarious.

It's really hot here, almost 1oo in town yesterday, My shop starts off at 5o f in the morning and gets up to ninety plus by mid afternoon. Yeah I'm missing numbers from my computer. :D

More folders today... holy crap these are a lot of work! :D

Bill Murray is awesome! My wife is on a John Hughes kick and we watched "She's having a Baby" last night. Bill Murray was in the credits! Best part of the film haha.

I meant to answer this sooner, sorry about that! I'm helping several people out with folders and got confused, lol.

If the whole lock face/froint of lock meets up there is a chance you will eventually get lock rock. Grind the upper portion of the lock or blade away {a few thou will do it}to the point where there is 1/4" of lockup area at the lowest point possible. The Terzoula book has a diagram that makes more sense than I am.

As far as design goes you want the lock to theoretically be at the 6 o clock position in relation to the pivot. In practice most get the lock as low and under the tang as possible to create the strongest lock possible.

If you draw a tangent from the pivot to the lockup area that will show you where force is going in the lock itself. You want this force going as straight back into the lock as possible to make the lock last and stay strong. If this tangent is way off you will need a lockbar stabilizer...
 
Yup! I realized after doing the work that my lockbar was up too far. It still locks up nice, but I'll make changes in the future. Unreal how much goes into getting these right!

It's OK, you're allowed to be lazy. It's hot out!
