Looks like good shooting to me! I need to buy some targets, I'm fresh out of NKOTB posters. Well I ran out in 9th grade but whatever... :D (I was famous for having a NKOTB dartboard in my locker, freaking darts in school yo!)

Evening fellas!

Liam, getting back in the groove! That pistol grouping tells me one thing, your trigger control needs work and repositioning. Your trigger finger is too far across the trigger, that causes the muzzle to pull right (for a right handed shooter). Try positioning the trigger slightly closer to the tip of your finger or building up the thickness of your grip on your dominate side. This is caused by pulling the trigger slightly sideways which is magnified at the muzzle, then even more on the target. Dry fire practice, working on your NPA and breathing will bring those shots on target. For two hand shooting, IHMSA has an air pistol class, shooting at 1/10 scale targets. They have downloads for targets and their rule book states (Section V, Subsection B, line 2) standing position is supported by either one or both hands only.

Also, I love getting new tools! Just got a new arbor press in the mail, considered miniature by most shop standards, but this is a custom made one and considered heavy duty for reloading! It's used for certain style dies that fully enclose the case in a chamber to keep everything as concentric as possible by utilizing a sliding fit between die body pieces rather than the long stroke of a ram holding the shell and raising it into a die.

Speaking of shooting, I have another long range match coming up in two weeks I need to start getting my gear ready for. Driving 3.5 hours to NV again.

Thanks for the tips, X - I've also adjusted the trigger weight down on the pistol, which should help with a more consistent break. Need to crack open the rifle and polish the sear and adjust it as well. All this off-hand shooting is killing me - I was so used to prone.

I'll look into the other competitions as well - I'd always focussed on the olympic style before, but since I'm unlikely to compete at that level anytime soon, it might be worth branching out.
 
A good two stage trigger in rifle will make the difference offhand. Also, learning to cope with the wobble.

Aftermarket trigger disqualifies it from production class. But i can adjust it a good bit once I get inside. Anymore than that, and I should just upgrade the whole gun.

I need to start making noise on Monday so I can get paid too. :/

Be sure to make the edge of the sear nice and crisp, that's where the mushy feeling comes from. I also normally put about a .002-.003 chamfer on my trigger sears. Also, grease, not oil. Keep 'em in the 10 ring!

It's already hot here at work, about 90° inside.
