X,

Best loop hole I understand as of now is to go featureless or purchase bb reloaded or get a prince 50. I am planning to go featureless ala pinning my magpul stock or buying an a2 stock, put on a monsterman grip or other kydex wrap, remove flash hide, put on a brake, and remove bb for a std. mag release.

I'm trying to figure out how ammo purchases will affect me going out to shoot. I might have to start reloading but component's will be hard to get again.

MDB, I'm going the non removable magazine route for my prone match gun, probably MIAD grip for my service rifle. I will not go for the BB Reloaded, not going to hammer on or stake any parts to a $3K gun. I've already modified one magazine to not be removable, it drops in from the top. I don't use flash hiders and have only one threaded barrel, so I'll just throw a thread protector on there.

Anyways, enough about CA dumb politics, moving on to my second (16oz :p ) vodka tonic. Was 110° here today as I was driving through downtown, but was a nice 108° at home.

Keep it real, homies!

X- Just get an AKM and use it!
Guys, I'm excited as Daniel is going to make me a FAT Ti kwaiken ala Hartsfield style. Yes, wrapped in Red.
Daniel, can you post a pic of the Purple, in S7?

Thanks Rolf! Will do on the purple one too, someone needs to buy it! It's really nice and priced to move...

I'm going to order some 36 grit belts for that FAT kwaiken! I need to check the width too, it's at least .26" thick but maybe more!

Not 36 grit finish, lol that Ti is just that hard to grind when it's that thick! I like how big but light they come out.

The Walnut handled Backpacker is available for $185!!! Tony really did a nice job with the scales and the Walnut is super nice... I'm starting to like it more than the Koa or my Ironwood. Once again a steal of a price...

Big things are happening!!!! I finally sent off my Ultralight Kwaiken design to WJ and will be hearing back pretty soon. There will be more Backpackers too! I'm doing an ultralight line this year and these will be the first two models.

Killing it, Daniel. Nice work!

*redacted* - I set up a makeshift shooting table with my scope at the 10M mark and did some off-hand practice. I'm all over the place (shamefully open groupings), but it felt good. Just need to get back in the groove.

It's the little things. Now if I could just get my clients to start cutting the checks they owe me so I can pick up another DFK. :D

If I don't find my backpacker, I might have to get another one and make sure it doesn't disappear from my pockets.

Might be going to Atlanta for a couple of days for training in Sept or Nov. Kinda want to to go but at same time if I can get a consultant into our office it would be much more valuable.

Little better today. Running the CS wadcutters in the rifle was more consistent - best 10 shot group of the day at 10M off-hand with iron sights:

My pistol seems to prefer the RWS round noses. It looks like competition rules for 10M air pistol require one hand shooting, not two like I've always done. So I need to work on my form to bring the group WAY down ~2inches across and nowhere near the X, but still fun.

No check yet from my client. So no S7 Tanto for me. It is tempting though.

I was thinking of it Rolf but not sure I would use it as much.

Thanks D, going to my lady's apt this weekend to check if not it slipped out my back pocket...sneaky lil knife lol

Enjoy the weekend boys

Hey guys! There is a Koa handle Ti Backpacker up for auction on my instagram page linked in my sig!

Sent from my LG-VS450PP using Tapatalk
