Daniel - I love the tall petty design you posted on FB. Really clean.

X - thanks again for the tips. I do really prefer shooting two handed pistol. Tightened up considerably already. MORE PRACTICE.

It also looks like there is a pistol silhouette group that shoots just a bit out of town here - I might order some airgun sized chickens, and give it a shot. (as it were)

Nice shooting Liam! Making me want to go set up a target and sling some lead. What distance are you shooting? Maybe a friendly "postal match" is in order?!

Getting some ar receivers painted today.

10 meters, off-hand pistol. Maybe we should start a DFK shooting thread, and not keep hijacking this one. :D

I think I know what I did on those two in the 7 ring - if I can reign that in and dial my sights in a bit more, I think I can do ok with the silhouette shooting.

Heya guys! Hope you're all well. Temps are all over the place here. 70's to high 90's with killer humidity X.x

Morning!

Headed off to work, supposed to be a nice cool 97° today, thank god! This past week of temps as high as 110° means it got as high as 125° in the building at work! Ridiculous hot.

Make it great!

-X

I said it's hot in here too!

125, that's tough! I used to work on a line where we had a mesquite fired grill, it was in Austin. It would be about 140 at the grill and that was with an AC duct right on you! Man Austin was hot...

Not too bad here, gets to 90+ in the shop but only for a while. We had a freeze here a few weeks ago!

Were looking at staying in VT again for a few days. Checked the weather and it was 65F yesterday. Droolworthy.

77 out now, which is a nice change from the 90's its been lately. Not sure how you guys deal with 100+. That's enough to keep this area empty and everyone indoors.

Heyyo!

Got some shop time this AM. Start a new job next week, so taking advantage of some time every day with the family and in the shop. Cranking projects, and off to a Rockies game later. All good in Denver!

hey guys!

I just ran by the local wood mill, bought a piece of Alder for a guitar project! It was a steal, cheaper than the birch plywood I was considering at HD! More importantly it's pretty cool I can get some decent wood locally.
