D, I realized that you have been cranking out a ton of killer stuff!...I mean I knew that but I didn't realize how much until I was searching for the old DFK knife pics thread! Did you ever finish that one off FF ? If you did I must have missed it. I was looking for the pic thread so I could post this pic of the DFK Mini Cleaver that I took for the edc thread yesterday. Never did find the thread so I will put it here.

Thanks Kevin! yes I've been working so many hours my photos have been somewhat lacking but there are a lot of knives getting made! I'm doing the knife thing 6 days a week from the time I am up until 6-7 pm. I'm so excited to release these new designs and make it happen!

I'll have more on the new Ultralight Kwaiken Backpacker soon! I also have new Backpackers coming up and 2 more models will be released over the next month.

Good stuff and good luck Xander!

We made it out yesterday afternoon for Porcini mushroom hunting... no flush yet but we found one huge one! I bet in a week it will be on, the Porcinis seem to pop up all at once. They are my favorite mushroom so I'm lucky we have them here, they seem to grow at around 10,000 feet in the spruce forests.

County Fair today! Jade and Amber are really excited! Me too!

Hi DFerz!
Daniel- Do you have a schroom knife?
Kevin! I sold most of my knives but I'm making room fo one mo. :D

X, good luck at the match!
D, hope you Fairly's have a blast at the fair!
Rolf, how many tanto's is too many? :D

We're just in from the Fair and the girls loved it! One guy had some custom knives for sale in the exhibition area so that was cool.

I hope you've been doing well!

Yes, :D a Ti Backpacker! We usually take that and a drop point backpacker in 15n20 I made a ways back... neck knives are perfect for mushroom hunting. I carried Sara's Delica (I reground with a swedge!) and it was really nice. I like the Ti the best though, no rust!

Tanto!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cool pic too Kevin!

I never finished that fricky, I need to make a new blade for it as I overground the plunge. I should soon, it's pretty cool!

Tantos!!!!!!

Ugh, just now finishing getting my sh!t together for tomorrow and I need to be up in 5 hours! Hoping a couple beers gets me to sleep quickly.

Catch you guys on the flip side....

Beers!!
So, are those shroom knives legit or just a thang? They seem legit, with that special blade and attached brush?
BTW, I just scored a Para1 Spyderedge. VERY cool knife.

Nothing to do here... waiting on knives and materials to shop to me, so no shop time. Family stuff all weekend. Have a blast yall.

I think so! All they are really used for is cutting the mushroom at the base then cutting/dusting the dirt off... so the traditional is a great practical design that was purpose driven.

The Porcini grow really clean and big so they can just be cut near the base then cleaned up a bit before tossing in the bag. I'm not into the brush thing but could see it being useful especially for the smaller stuff.

We're going to look for more in about a week, once they start it is amazing how many there is.

Spyderco!!!!!!

I almost forgot to mention this but the other day I saw the craziest thing! I saw a 300-400 pound massive Black Bear climb a pine tree at least 50-60 feet up!!! He (or she) was almost to the top... He spotted me then climbed back down in less than one second... it was completely nuts and I almost could not believe it.

T should have mail by Monday. Get you some work!

Kev I absolutely love that knife. I really regret not being around when they were first introduced. Great photo!

Sup guys! I've been super busy. Upgraded my homelab with a new L3 managed switch and a new server. Getting some knifework done this weekend while I stay indoors to avoid the heat.

Hope all is well. D, I've been itchin for a new Fairly. It may be time to start making deposits on one!

Thanks, Daniel!
Even the strongest man, or woman, with claws, could not come close to what you just witnessed.

Hi guys!

Sounds good Bobby!

Yes Rolf, it was really wild! Bears move very fast, I've seen guys that can run a 4.2 second 40 and they wouldn't even come close!

Huge day in the shop! KWAIKENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
