Mail call Monday with my new City Stock Baffalo Brand 81 next to the 81 moose. Didn’t think I would like the single back spring because I’m not a fan of the Coon Skinner 81 just to thin. I really like this new 81… not to slim. Beautiful bone on these Charlie

It was a great chat. Along with the knife chat, I was intrigued to learn that Buffalo was the first city to be electrified.
My 81 City Stock landed today, it easily lives up to my expectations. Wow! It is just exquisite!

The GEC crew did an outstanding job building these! This City Stock reminds me of one of my grandfathers more than any other that I have.
It joins my Black Jack and pair of Riders in my little Waynorth collection, which sits at the top of my modest GEC collection.

And at last I got to Chicken-eye and Coon-finger one!! I went to the USA to fetch the knives for me and my fellow Canada - dwellers!! This is the first one I took out, and I will carry it!! Now I have one too!! I'm as happy as anyone now!! Bill has exceeded my expectations!!

Congratulations, y'all! This just seems like a very special knife. All these features together are just so pleasing to the eye. I'm sure it also feels well executed in hand. I just remembered I'm late, but anyway, happy birthday, Charlie! I'm so glad you got to see the City Stock come to fruition this month!
