Such pleasant reading, and pics, watching everyone enjoying their City Stocks!!
And at last I got to Chicken-eye and Coon-finger one!! I went to the USA to fetch the knives for me and my fellow Canada - dwellers!! This is the first one I took out, and I will carry it!! Now I have one too!! I'm as happy as anyone now!! Bill has exceeded my expectations!!View attachment 2669639View attachment 2669640View attachment 2669642

How unfair that you didn’t get to be the very first to have one in hand! Bet the wait was killer.

Well…. What do we have here!?

Charlie, I can’t even begin to thank you. I was sure this was going to be one of the few knives I’ve ever been bummed to miss out on. Seeing a package in the mailbox from Blaine had my heart racing (probably not the best for the old pacemaker 😂).

This knife is an absolute BEAUTY! It really seems like GEC pulled out all the stops and stepped their game up for this one. The jigging and bone color is just DIVINE! The pull is a perfect 6 - 7.

GEC also did some fancy work so that the two blades would work well on a single spring.

Double liners on the show side and a single liner on the pile side.

Some fancy milling of the second liner on the inside!

Just perfection.
