The coin thread--post pictures of your traditional knives with a coin

Since this is a knife forum, I'll have to snap some pics of my creations with my Christmas knives tomorrow and post them here!

Please do! :)

Viewed this way, I've been posting a "coin" with a knife off and on throughout. ;)

My current favorite knife, a Tidioute 68 long pull spearpoint jack pattern with 2 rings I made from Eisenhower silver dollars. Been wearing/carrying this combination for the past few days.

Heres a better shot of the 2 cent coin from 1864, Primble!

Just a beauty, Paul!

Yes, Eric and Sarah...just spent an hour learning the process of making those stunning rings...thanks for sharing.

 Well we could both do a whole lot worse, Paul! Thank you Paul and Gev! The coin is slightly larger than a nickel but not as big as a quarter. Also the first coin "In God We Trust" was placed on! That Mark is a giver! I love it! Hey Paul, where you headed now?:p

Time to get this fine thread out of mothballs :D:thumbup: Few days ago I was really pleased to get this Crown Lifter into my knife fold, outstanding build quality and a clearly a practical carry. Shown here with British Half-Crown from 1825, King George IV.

Here's an old(ish), well-worn American knife with some old, well-worn American coins. All of these belonged to my grandpa at one point or another.

And here's my new(ish) Northfield #77 Barlow with a Krugerrand that is definitely made of gold and not chocolate. :D

Great new items on this thread, thanks.

mark Yes I'm delighted with the knife, but I'm becoming a bit of a bore with it, showing it off in all these threads...;)

JDWARE excellent work there, really clever. Those old British Crowns are a big lump of solid silver to work on. Reminds me how much I would like to get a US Peace Dollar from 1921.......

10P from Jack Black in the near blade well, penny and dime in the far one. Also another dime under the far clamp jaw.
