The CRK Anticipation Thread - Show Your 'Inbound's!

So, thanks to Lone Wolfe, I've got her large Regular Seb inbound to me now as well to unite with my small Reg I just got from her today. :)

It will be my first set of Sebs. Awesome.:thumbup:
 
Not really "anticipation", as just arrived. But as I am pretty exited I just wanted to give you a quick and dirty look. My normal pictures will follow soon.

My new EDC:

Plus a large Classic, with Bloodwood inlays and an interesting Ladder damascus blade pattern and a large pre Idaho Made 21, with Mammoth Bark inlays and a gorgeous Spriograph damascus blade. Blade seems to me coated, as I can see a kind of "film" on the blade and the damascus pattern comes out almost in 3D (which I am not able to capture with my cell phone camera. Very happy with them!

Congratulations Stefan!!! So you were the one who snagged those from TNK huh? I was really eyeing that Mammoth but was gone when I made the decision to get it... Glad that it went to a member here... :thumbup:

Also, that Spirograph blade really pops. So it seems like it is coated.. much like the one on my recent 2006 Annual catch with Amboyna... :D

It most certainly is! Congratulations on an exciting first. I've yet to pick up an Mnandi, but I now have enroute my first Small Sebenza, a Small 1995 P Sebenza, knife and photo courtesy of Lone_Wolfe:

My first Small and my first Original Sebenza, this one will be exciting to receive and drop in the pocket!
 
Ok folks, I broke my rule tonight about only buying PJ's and Micarta (not a fan of polished scales, love the blasted scales).

Lone Wolfe started it when she sold me her small Regular, which got me REALLY liking the small 21 (Only larges up to now).

Then I'm seeing all the beautiful wood inlays. (I LOVE the Bocote wood inlays most of all the current offerings).

Then, I saw the most beautiful Raindrop pattern (I don't care for most of the current raindrop patterns).

I threw in the towel and bought this from Blade Gallery tonight: Small 21 Raindrop Damascus and Bocote


I LOVE that Bocote pattern and that stretched Raindrop pattern is exquisite. I fell in love with it...

I can't wait!!!! :)
 
Congrats, that's a beauty! I love that stretched pattern, it's much like my newly received mammoth bark. It also helps that the folks at Blade Gallery are great to deal with. :thumbup:
 
Blade gallery is right down the road from me...try and stop in there every couple of weeks. Great people with an amazing shop

OMG, I'd be in the poorhouse if I lived near them! That would be almost as bad as me living in Boise Idaho! :eek: :eek:
 
Congratulations to all of you! That mammoth Mnandi looks fantastic, Z !

The Bocote has a fantastic grain and damascus pattern! Just great!
