The CRK Anticipation Thread - Show Your 'Inbound's!

Oh I know we would drewl over each others collections, that's for sure. I do know if I could have that special Sebenza in anyone's collection, it would be yours as I know you truely appreciate it and what it represents.

That's especially true now that it's place in UG history is known to me. I'd previously thought it was an early Lisa, while still cool, wouldn't have been my only one. Later this year I'm planning to do a thread on the history of CRK graphics, that knife will have an important spot. Not quite like P68 will, but still important.

Not only that, it's a lefty. I already have #61, it's right-handed counterpart. Another lefty-righty pair coming up. Although I'm probably going to sell off my Walnut righty-lefty old nick pair because of this.

Justin, I don't know if you saw this in my Collection thread, I also have an even more rare Mnandi, #2 out of 25 Redwood Burls made at the same time as the beginning of this run of 200 Ziricotes.

Now tell me about that righty wallnut... [emoji16]

LW,

Please do the thread on UGs. You know they have a special place in my heart!

I think someone should do a CRK book.

One of my hobbies in the past was collecting Breitling watches. They had a several hundred page very high quality book made detailing the history of various models, old ads, stories etc. It was not totally inclusive by any means but it helped people connect with the brand in a very meaningful way and preserved history that would be lost of the generations otherwise.

It also cost I think $200. I enjoyed it emensely and would be first in line for a CRK book.

Congratulations. Was this the one from the exchange? I've seen a few Classic MM for sale lately.. I wish there a small one with BG42 would be posted sometime...

yes it was here on BF. Looking forward to getting it will be my first non regular.

It's been a tough, tough day to get through, but it had one bright spot, my new-to-me Mnandi arrived. Just a quick pic for now, more later. The best is yet to come.

Thanks to LW I will be the proud new owner of a small classic lefty! Thanks Lone_Wolfe. I'll take good care of her. Pics to come on mail day!

Just got my first Small Regular Seb today from Lone Wolfe! (first small Seb and first Regular Seb)

I love this little guy! I laughed when I saw it for the first time. It's sooo tiny compared to my large Sebs and Zaan. I can palm it with no trouble. :)

After a nice strip-down, cleaning, lube-job, a wee bit of time on the Sharpmaker, and a new lanyard, it's all mine.:)

Thanks Lone Wolfe!

I had a brutal day too LW, but my Spiro is at home, 3 years later. THANK YOU!

Wow, it got there quick! Glad to have been able to help it make it home, even though the interim owner has a sad right now. Can't blame him, either, I miss it too.

And yeah, days like yesterday suck. If you work for any amount of time in animal rescue, you're going to get your heart broke. Yesterday was my turn.

Methinks this might be the pic you need for this thread. ;) :p :D

You've got it looking good! Now rock your little friend! And you're very welcome! :)

Slammed, that Zaan looks good! You'll have to give your impressions of the tanto blade after you've used it some.
