The Diamond Jack is Back!!

Can anyone post a picture of a #48 Diamond Jack from the past? Or... is this the first "Diamond Jack" on the #48 pattern?

The development and glamor pictures of the first edition are here:

Some Sparkling Traditional Treasure!

-- The first of Charlie's Diamond Series of knives, I believe, followed by the Radio Jack, Washington Jack, and Navy Knife.

(If I'm missing any or have them out of order, just count to three and a proper accounting shall be presented. :D)

One of my favorites. The closest I can get to a Schrade 294 in the 21st century.

Charlie, while we are waiting for pictures, can you tell us what color options we will have this time.

It will be hard to too that blood red peach seed bone, but I have faith!!

Very glad to see this, Charlie! :) Will be watching the progress for sure.

The #48 pattern Diamond Jack is on order, and being processed!!

They will be single-blades, and have that same nice saber grind that the last issue had, with a new jigging pattern on the bone.

Same nice quality, as always.:)

You know how I like to post pictures; I will add pictures when I get Photobucket sorted out!! (groan - anyone else having trouble with them??)

Anyway - stay tuned for coming news!!

Today has been a hard day- in fact, real hard, but to come to news like this....YES!!!!!!! It will be interesting to see the Jig work on the new 48's Charlie...Cant wait!

Nice Knives Philllll! Wow!

One of my absolute Treasures........

Will there be any 2 blade jacks in the mix? (with a pen or short wharncliffe/coping secondary?)

Here's the single blade Diamond Jack

Fingers crossed....

Also, I'd be jazzed to see any of them w' a regular blade rather than a saber grind type.

So when is production of this knife scheduled?

Don't know when Charlies SFO is going to production.

The 48's are on page 2 of GEC's posted production schedule. There was a in production picture they posted awhile back. I read that some 48's are scheduled for shipping already, so I wouldn't think it would be too far out before Charlie's is ready to go - but I don't know.

Hopefully got one of each as it says OK. These will be my first SFO's from Charlie and I can hardly wait. Although I've tried I've never been successful. Now to decide which one to put in my pocket and which one to keep as new. I think I know the answer, both will be too nice to put in my pocket. I have 4 or 5 48 patterns and really enjoy them.
Good Luck all,
Rick
