Charlie asked that I post this for your visual pleasure and entertainment:

Heck, it the labels are done, how long could the wait be for the knives? Not long, I'm thinkin'. :D:D:D:D

:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

The #13`s are off the production page with inly 48s on there now, so I would imagine they are already making parts. Couple more weeks maybe???

So are the options walnut and red rodgers jig bone? And do they come in single and double blade?

Those were the color options listed on CK early reserve. If I recall, Charlie posted somewhere that they are single blade only.

That's a great tube label write-up from Charlie... once again!

Well said Crossdraw!

Personally I can't wait to handle the "substantial steel in svelte curves" sounds almost R rated!!!:D

The shields will be the Diamond (<un-X-ld>) that I always use for this series.
We are still debating the final bone-color choices. They might wind up a little different than listed. There will still be two, and the knives will all be one-blades.
I am happy you like the label, folks!

I read earlier on a GEC dealers blog that the first of the 48's have shipped. I'm guessing they are not talking about Charlie's sfo but how would they sneak producing 48's in and have them ready with no production pictures on the site? They can be sneaky at times.
Either way I'm looking forward to my first "Diamond Jack".
Take care all,
Rick

Great Charlie: Looking forward to getting my hands on one. I think this will be a great piece.

More news as of today.
The bone colors are now confirmed:
Chestnut and Antique Amber. 250 of each will be made.
Also, the blades will have a different grind. No saber grind, but a regular nick with a long tapered swedge. I will try and scare up a pic.

This is real interesting news- GREAT news!
I personally think the Long Swedge and nail nick is more suited to the 48 patterned Diamond Jacks - it will be extremely hard to improve on the last series - so this is what makes it so interesting

Can Mike chime in on the early reserve adjustments? Will walnut will be replaced by chestnut and red by antique amber?

These changes make me even more excited to see these new Diamond Jacks!
