Wow snark happens fast. I swear it was just a hour ago that I started this wildfire and it made page 4
 
Stabilized my first set of burl today, it was very challenging to keep the container air tight yesterday.. I finally got it air tight and crazy glued the side of my lips, I had the cap end in my mouth and went to cap it back and missed... Kept the burl at 25 pounds all day long and it sucked up a can of wood hardener...

I love that show. I started watching because Kaley Cuoco is hot. I keep watching because it's hilarious and Kaley Cuoco is hot.


Might finally get myself an Opinel, or three rather. Found a vendor online that sells them cheap enough and offers free shipping. Gonna order myself an 8, 12, and one of the small saws.
 
I ordered one of those stoves from China 3+ weeks ago and it hasnt shown up yet. Wondering how long they took to show up for others that ordered them?

I ordered a replacement head for my Fenix PD30, they told me ETA is 4-6 weeks.

Well damn! I guess I might not be tinkering with it anytime soon. I probably won't have any real use for it until next spring anyway.

Anyone have suggestions for a decent pair of binoculars around $300? I'm looking for something to carry while I'm hunting so smaller and lighter weight is a must. 8 or 10 power would suit me fine.

You can find them cheaper than listed on the site, but I use Weems & Plath Apaches. They were liberated from the Corps. Don't worry y'all didn't buy them, our CO did.

Never even heard of that brand, but I'll check them out. Prices are around 350, so not too bad. I would imagine that if they worked well foe Marines, the should stand up to what I would do with them.
