What are you using it for? I think gmail has a spell check feature, and if not google docs should, so you could upload it to a google doc, run spell check and check without being out any cash. Microsoft Office anything should have that option though if that is not what you're after.

I like it, I love splinter, glad he put him in the design, I told him to just do whatever he wanted to do and think he came up with a cool design for it.
 
Hey Murphy, have you handles a Wetterlings of comparable size to your Council Hudson bay ? Just asking because I want to know how thick the handles are on your axe when compared to one of the Svede axes.
Anyone have direct contact info for anyone at Wetterling ? I am having no luck.

Almost had a trade lined up for a BK9 but it didnt work out :( Still needing a 1095 chopper. But my next "FOR-SURE" chopper comes the beginning of december. Cant wait for this one.

The Council has a very thin handle, especially when compared to one of the Scandi axes. That was a very noticeable difference when I handled my first Gransfors at the last gathering. Thin handled should not be mistaken for uncomfortable though.

Trade had some hands on time with my Council and has plenty of time with the other axes, he's a legend after all, he'd probably give you better insight than I could.
 
WORK SUCKS!!!!! Listen to this sh!t! So, where I work at (day job) decided they wanted to send me to a 5 day advanced training class for my job in Ohio. Im supposed to leave this Sunday night so I can get my hotel and a good night sleep the day before I have to be in class Monday morning. After repeated requests emails, visits and so forth the last month to my boss, Everyone of which has gone ignored, he called me to his office to inform me TODAY that all travel expenses, car rental and food are all my responsibility, now keep in mind my co-worker went to this same class in May, and all of this crap was furnished for her at no expense to her. Then they tell me, that what will easily add up to over $1000. bucks is on me. As you can imagine I told them in the nicest manner possible that they where all F*@#ing stupid if they thought that was going to happen. Make a class mandatory for me to go to, then not make any provisions 3 days before I leave and want me to pay for it. Yeah right. I took it to HR which of coarse will be out of the office until next week. I called the school in Ohio and figured Id postpone the trip myself so I could get this sorted out. They tell me it is too late to cancel and my work will be billed the cost of the class (which is $2000 bucks) wheither Im in the seat or not lol. So, guess Im gonna be Mr. popular tomarrow when I tell them that, cause I sure as Hell am not paying for it. I know whats going on. The higher powers that be there really hate my guts. Seems I just cant bring myself to drink there cool aid and kiss there ass like they want me too. turns out they love to piss on there employees but hate it when people piss back. Sorry to bitch, but just had to vent.

You can actually take their asses to court for treating employees in the same situation completely differently. Its called discrimination and its very hard for them to fight when there is a clear documented case of them doing something one way for some people and another way for you.

I would say Take it to your union rep or attorney, or both ..lol

Yeah, I'm in no way backing down on this. Something else I "polietly" told them today. Unfortunatley our union and there reps are more intersted in eating cheetos and wacting youtube videos to help me. (That's no lie) Its just a pissing match at this point. I've been round and round with them before, always seem to work out in my favor. I expect this won't be any different. Just agrivating that I have to fight tooth and nail with these guys just because I'm not one of there pets.
 
Todd, I'm so sorry man! That is some serious shit. Thorny was right, if you have documented proof of discrimination sometimes even the hint of a pending lawsuit is enough to snark them back into line. That being said, sometimes alluding to a pending lawsuit will backfire down the road.
