Might be one of my favorites I've ever seen you post will. Been trying to get more vintage and antique knives on my radar lately, and this looks like it could be a perfectly preserved example of what they were doing in the 1800s. Love it.

i had to get rid of a custom once cause of that shield well that and i was a little iffy on micarta but mostly that shield. its not a chess piece shield

Oh yeah, a bar shield is always a touch of class.

It's hard to pick a favorite, and sometimes it depends on the shape of the frame.

I've seen a few ovals. Still a very simple styling.
