Checking the stock for the big ice storm bearing down on us. Plenty of food, water and a couple of cases of Moet & Chandon Dom Perignon Oenotheque Rose. Well, it was either that or Black & Tan. I didn't have my glasses on, but either way I'm ready.

the Kojo Nnamdi show on NPR just had a great interview with three of the people from the Nautilus. Which in case some of you didnt know is our resident teckerhead, Daizee's ship. Well the ship hes been working on for months at any rate.
Was a pretty cool interview. For those of you into science and archaeology, and such you should look it up. Its, The Future Of The Past: New Frontiers In Exploration on the Kojo Nnamdi Show

Thanks for the tip, Thorny. I will. My kids were all kinds of digging the underwater videos from the ROV's.

1 or 2 more days before my Competition cutter arrives :D

I wont be able to do it the justice that it has been use to in the past but im going to enjoy trying anyway :) The one i got is the actual exact knife Dan used in the youtube video of the one hit 2 x 4 chop. Also its the one he used for all 2 x 4 derby competitions for the last three years. He told me it has taken first place in every 2 x 4 Derby it has been used in including the derby at the 2011 national championships. This knife has an amazing past and will be a very welcomed addition to my collection.

Thought I would share that video since the topic came up the other day; it popped up on my FB feed this morning. I only know the BHK guys by their reputation, which is very good. These things happen sometimes. I'm certainly impressed by both gentlemen's attitudes about all this... their behavior is not only commendable, but very smart. I wish them both the best of success, and I will hazard a guess that this will be a good thing for their customers, past and future. :)

No wait... forget all that... they suck! Only buy Beckers and THKs!! :D :p
