Happy Birthday Dubz!!!! You old bastard. The AARP stuff will start filling the mailbox now.

I know one thing. Completely hypothetical of course, but if you let an eye-watering fart in the checkout line at Hobby Lobby, you can scowl at your children and deflect blame. Kids are really useful. Again... completely hypothetical.
Unfortunately for me - and this is coming from a guy who comes from a storied lineage of gasbags - my 12 year old daughter can put me and probably most of y'all to shame. I mean, for a kid who's allergic to eggs and milk (among other things) she can singe the hairs in your nose. And she's cute and innocent and never makes a sound. All of a sudden your eyes start to water. So you know who gets blamed for that in public places. Like anyone's gonna believe she did it when the ol' man is standing right there.

Thanks. I didn't realize our birthdays were so close. I'm already a card carrier for AARP. My wife is 56, haha.

Happy Birthday, Dubz!. They aren't kidding about that AARP stuff. They sent me crap every week until I finally put it all back into the postage paid envelope and wrote: "please remove me from your mailing list" on the application thingy. That is an "old person" trick. Oh...and now you can look forward to your first colonoscopy. Have fun this evening!

Edit: well then, never mind about the AARP stuff, but remember the trick....it works with other mailings, too.

I do not need another knife, I do not need another knife, I do not need another knife, I do not need another knife, I do not need... oooooh another knife... I do not.... another knife... I do need another knife.

Thanks. I need to go to the doctor for a few things, but don't have the money, or insurance to do so right now. Looking for jobs sucks. I just applied for another job online. It's how most do it now. Sometimes it's not bad, just submit a resume. I just spent about 45 minutes on this latest one, because you have to take testing for the job, and it's part time to boot. Part time is better than no time, plus, at this place, you have to work part time to be able to apply for full time.

Damn that spaghetti sure is smelling good. I love the start, frying up the garlic in a little olive oil.

We have some freezing rain warnings out. We got a little snow today as well.

I'm still laughing. I was just looking at aknife on the exchange which is a really good deal, but I do not need another knife. I do, however, want one. And another. Maybe just one more......

My thing is, I have my large choppers covered. I have my 9, I have my 7, I have my hatchet... I don't need those. I do however love me some small EDC-able knives. I been working on being comfortable with smaller blades. So I started carrying the 11, and the 14 more, then I moved to the Izula since it's a smaller blade, then I moved to the Tibo... Then last night I picked up an Oak Leaf Acorn.

I think that's why moments ago I picked up a HEST off the exchange. I wanted to buy the Junglas, but that is just too damn hard to sneak into the house. I'm not sure why they even call it The Exchange, since I never seem to exchange anything....except, perhaps, cash for steel. I probably need to rethink this, maybe even (*gasp*) sell some things. Yeah. I'm gonna do that right......tomorrow.
