I have a few fire pistons. They're a lot of fun:

How do those work exactly?

Fire pistons are really cool! Moose gave me a demo of the one he's got at the last Gathering. It kinda looks like BS when you see it in a vid or advertisement, but when you see it for real and try it for yourself, it's pretty dang impressive

Haha, Thanks for the laugh. If I could grow bacon flowers I would of died of a heart attack years ago, Here's a little known fact about me that you guys probably don't know, (give you a little giggle at my expense) But I in fact do love growing flowers. This summer wasn't so good but the wife and I usually put out a pretty large $$$$ amount of flowers each year. I really enjoy it, Murph gives me sh!t about it all of the time, but I really don't care, Im not ashamed. :p

I am the same, my mother had 100's of potted plants as I was growing up and I always helped with the replanting and propagating new ones.. I love the meditative quality and the "results" aspect of gardening.. I like seeing the results of my labor or creating anything by hand. I spent countless hours at my Grandmother's also, turning beds and planting for her. I have always loved it and I agree that there is no shame in working the earth..

They're awesome. I have used punky wood, char cloth, and chaga tinder in mine. I like using chaga the best. That stuff smells so damn good burning, haha.

Sorry to have bugged ya the other day Todd. I was just jonsing for some steel so figured I would double check before buying something. Glad I shan't be considered one of those 4.

What you might want to consider is for someone from BF you don't require a deposit (we're knife knuts, we understand the quality and time that goes into it) but for the regular interwebz folks requiring some sort of deposit or even payment up front. It probably isn't a good idea, but it's an idea nonetheless. Sorry you got stiffed like that, but I'm sure you can sell them no worries. (I think that was how I picked up that green wharncliffe from you actually)

At my old house (10 years ago) I had a perennial garden that was the envy of neighbors and friends, I started before I met my wife with some stuff that was already there, and I just kept adding. Nice thing about perennials: if you take care of them, you only buy them once. On a side note, we have a world famous garden in town, and one of the regular groundskeepers is almost always dressed in a black battle kilt. He's not ashamed either.

Nothin' wrong with growing flowers at all. If nothing else, they distract the eye from the junk cars in the yard and make the house look like civilized human beings live there. Being the lazy type, I prefer low-maintenance bulbs and "wild" type perennials, though. If I have to put much work into a plant, I insist on being able to eat it, smoke it or make wine out of it when it's done :D

R/C boat is crazy fast. Go to around the :45 mark:

RTAK II just went up on the exchange, new 5160 one, if anybody's interested. I would, but I'm still waiting on my 12.....and a KB large heavy Bowie and an Ontario SP50 gen II....
Great seller, too.

I have a yellow rose bush in the front of my house that I absolutely love. It is the biggest rose bush I've ever seen. I like it because on occasion I go out an pick a few and give them to the wife. Yes, I usually have an ulterior motive for doing so. LOL
