The First Five Years! GEC!!!

Travman Travman How'd you managed to keep the dark/burnt look on yours. My identical (if Stag can ever be identical :D ) liner lock from '08 is a light butter colour it has very deep grooves mark side.

Here's one from 2008...

I have this one,I love the little handwritten COA.

It’s so nice/historic I can’t bring myself to use it,I put it up for sale but no one seemed to want it.

I thought the old ones were nail breakers and it put me of,this one is perfect and relativley easy to open.

Which models have the very strong pulls?

I’ve posted this photo of my favorite stag knives on a couple of Facebook groups over the years. The two big fatties left center are a 73 and a 23. Both had blades stamped ‘06’ even though I believe they were produced in 2007. Sure wish I had held on to all of these knives.

Not a great picture, I’ll have to remember to add some individual photos later on. Anyways, here are the three in my collection from the “first 5”.

A 61 Congress in stag from 2009, a 68 White Owl in Cocobolo from 2011, and a “GEC brand” 25 in stainless/elk from 2010.

I recently added this 2007 Smooth Cherry Bone 73EC to my collection! I actually purchased it from a kind soul here last September; he didn't want to ship overseas (I live in the Netherlands), but was willing to send it to my sister in Pennsylvania. I finally got to pick it up a couple of weeks ago. Tough to wait almost a year, but worth it in the end. It's a well made knife and I have trouble finding any flaws. The springs are very slightly sunken at the half stops, but that is the worst of it!
