I know I have more than a few Fiddlebacks that I should probably put up for grabs on the Flea Market. But I think I am going to wait for things to die down a little.

I feel the same. I have four I'm planning to put up for sale/trade but there's a ton on the fleamarket right now. BTW... SWEET grab on that Bison. I've been eyeballing it all morning but I promised myself I wouldn't buy anything until I sold some of my current ones off.

I'm looking for a Recluse in 5/32 with a synthetic handle if that would help either of you. There was one listed a few months ago but I missed it. If you have one please feel free to PM me.

Thanks RE the Bison. I think I purchased the first Bush Adder knife that Allen made to sell. It was not the first Bush Adder knife that he sold, but it was the first one that he made to sell. I have to say that it is not my favorite knife of his that I own, but I think I will keep it around as that pretty much makes it serial number 0001 for that model. I have been interested in his Bison for a long time, and I just was never in the right place at the right time. I think I remember seeing this particular knife and I was sorry that I missed it when it first sold. Allen has come a very long way, in a very short period of time in his knifemaking. Andy must be a very good mentor.

You should wipe your Monarch's butt with oil frequently. Words to live by, unless you are from Great Brittan.

I might catch some hell for this.....but

Can we all work towards using a standard (smaller) size for flea market pictures?

I'm on a cable modem and it still takes me a while to download page 376. And then someone will invariably "reply with quote" and boom....there's all the pictures again.

There really isn't a reason to post anything over 800 x 600 right? You guys on slower connections must be dying.....

Not calling anyone out. Not trying to start a war. In a perfect world I'd love it if every picture was wallpaper sized. but can we try to be efficient with this? I think bladeforums would appreciate it as well.

Not going to catch hell from me... at all. I was thinking the exact same thing yesterday. Some of the pictures size that are being posted are outrageous! Good post solid4ever, I completely agree.

Yeah, add my name to the list. I agree as well.

The big pictures (and quoting them in subsequent replies) really bury other posts pretty quickly.

Maybe let's save the big pictures for off-forum emails.

Has anyone had luck shipping to Canada?
I've been to 2 USPS offices and neither could make it happen

We do it all from the USPS website. Just about every week w/o issue.
Box it up
Print the label
Attach label to the box
Drop it off at the post office

If it won't fit in a small flat rate box you will need a "envelope label"...(for lack of knowing the real name")
So all the customs forms will fit in and be accessible to the customs agents

I have to apologize for "quoting" posts with pics. I am guilty as charged. In my defense, I forget that not everyone has an app. I have my settings set where it doesn't show quoted pics. I will try to do better. I understand the frustration. It may cause someone to get the jump on a good buy.....hmmm, on second thought

Do any of you guys remember the name of the Fiddleback model comparison thread? I tried to search for it and could not find it. I ran across it one day and wanted to look back through it. i am considering getting a Lady Finger but it looks like the handle might be much narrower than what the other Fiddleback models feel like.

TIA
