All 3 that dsarps has up are really nice but I've got a 3/32" Scandi Hiking Buddy and its a great performer!

Just bought my first one new, but geez! Lots of very nice knives up now. Wish payday was a couple weeks earlier!

I know everyone else is saying it too, but man we are just flooded with good knives around here. I just made a post on my reddit knifeclub forum to try and inspire some of the Titanium Flipper guys to mix it up with some handmade fixed blades. Hopefully they will gravitate this way.

I've tried to spread the Fiddleback love to the flipper fans as well and have acquired a Jim Burke Hitman, Defiant Kumu and Strider SMF with a few mutually pleasing trades. Also picked up a custom Hoback A8 indirectly :) I think that just makes it worse as my interest in that type of knife has grown as well and the loss of Fiddlebacks has enabled me to justify buying more!

In the last week I have sold two knives here. One for my asking price and the other for a negotiated $10 off. I have two more still listed at fair prices that will sit there unbumped until someone buys them, offers a reasonable discount, or a long time goes by with no activity. I think the two-week before bumping policy on the general Exchange makes a lot of sense to provide some pricing stability to the market and save desperate sellers from being their own worst enemy.

It has been said that a wolf or coyote will chew off its own leg to escape a trap. Some sellers seem that desperate and it hurts the overall market. I encourage sellers to not behave like panicked animals and figure out the right price to post something at and be patient. Unfortunately, patient sellers are more rare than Electric Orange burlap around these parts. My advice is to buy smart for desirable configurations and sell reluctantly for close to the original price. There is no logical reason why unused knives are valued way less than new prices on a Friday other than desperate seller behavior that modifies the norm.

That's my take on things. Be wise on purchases. Be reluctant to sell. Be patient when you want to sell.

Phil some sound advice!
I hate to see people hurting themselves and the fiddleback market.

Ok, I think I'd like to try a Kephart but I really prefer thin 3/32. Why are they always 5/32? (rhetorical comment)

In case anyone's wondering, I'm trying to find homes for quite a few knives that I just don't use and can't justify having them sitting unloved in various locations. In particular the O1 blades i struggle to keep up with maintenance when i might not see them for 6 months! There will be a few users and a few "new condition' knives. I probably won't repost with price drops but feel free to make offers. Not really looking for trades but always open to Osage offers and unusual configurations or old models.
