The Flea Market Mung Absolution Thread

This means I have to start checking the Flea Market at 5:00am again???

I've managed to finally wean myself away from the damn thread. Now I've got to pay attention again. Just when I think I'm getting out...they pull me back in!

Well, I guess the quality of my problems are pretty good. But damn. Seriously, sorry Abe. This is really a bad break. And I'm glad Shanghai got that Patch - I've already shot him a PM congratulating him and telling him how nicely that Osage is going to age and brown with use. I'd have grabbed it, but can't justify owning two almost identical blades, especially after the blade bender I've been on these past few weeks. But I'm still checking the Market!

That gets you about half way there. What's next? 😊

Sent you a PM Nathan.

Thanks Tony. The thing is I feel stupid as I forgot to take the knife out of my pocket and it was in Sydney City that I got fined. The knife was clearly visible and I am sure somebody complained.
Anyways lesson learned and onwards we march...

Sorry Tony. I wouldn't have but got to pay a fine

Wife says knife related fine has to be paid by knife money :(

Does that make the patch a "Australian fine knife"?

Abe, I'm with Heeso on this one. Sounds painful, but just. For me, if I'm hurting on cash and want a new knife, gotta sell a knife to make room =]

Best idea of the day

That mango on the Shamon is the nicest looking wood I've seen. I absolutely love it. An old school Bushnub would be on my radar if became available. ;)

Sweet bone micarta over orange and black. price has been dropped Schmittie;)

So, I have had a couple Fiddlebacks in the flea market for some time and they just aren't selling. I think they are darn nice, and at a fair price. So are these not desirable? Or, am I asking too much??? I remember a time when these would not have lasted one day in the flea market.

I have almost pulled the trigger on your Ranger SEVERAL times. Lol. Just couldn't do it. I still like looking at it though. Lol

The Duke is very cool. It is the only Fiddleback I have ever seen with the Predator pinout.

Wow, I love the thin handle and taper on that Kephart.

If you want to increase their value as a collector item, you could add pictures of them stabbed into Rick Lowe's post-surgery Barney thingamabob. Just sayin' :D

Well (Tony) it has finally happened!

Bobcat with Osage over natural liners and blue pinstripes flat ground on 3/32" A2 SFT $250
Price includes PayPal Fees and USPS shipping.

Carried a few times, used lightly, very slight scratch near blade tip on right side. MUST get rid of this before it makes me buy more beautiful Osage over blue!
