  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

The Forefather Bowie Is Coming Friday, Nov. 8, 2024 At 9:PM Eastern!!! . . . If You Have A Good Imagination, You Could Score One Heck Of A Discount!!!

That's generally what happens if people aren't fully satisfied with their lottery entry. I'm keeping mine!
I would if I were you, too. That sanded digital camo almost sort of looks like digital bone/horn... it's rad... like a perfect modern twist on an old timey Bowie:cool:

PeteyTwoPointOne PeteyTwoPointOne that CF is nice... looks like the Sort of Satin on the HR2 LE. 🤘

I got mine in the other day, stonewashed, blue and black, nice blade overall, but I’ll be sending it back.
I was hoping for a sharpened clip, would be happy to mod it myself, but the hollow grind on it will mean taking off more or trying to finish it out to the tip (and that thick part at the very tip is odd, too).
The balance isn’t too bad overall considering the fuller, would like it a little more toward the tip. I don’t see any ‘micro corrugation’, but that’s fine since it probably would have made the blade even lighter.

Sharpening the top part clip would be cool and would help on reverse cut even with the Tip left on .

I love mine, but the handle is @2-3 inches too short for my fat fingers. I'll be listing it soon.

Damn, you have some big mitts. I wear a size 16 wedding ring and XXL Mechanics brand gloves and the Forefather Bowie feels great for me... You need a Huckfin or Hognose War Sword... 😎
