The Funnel. The Inside scoop on whatever it is we're doing in here.

Added a links page to the website today. So if anyone wants added to it or has some ideas as to who to add, let us know here.

There is a great goat site that Tim likes.....let me see if I can find the link he sent me.

Well today saw us having Easter with the family. When it was time to load my plate down with ham, someone had neglected to provide a knife, so I proceeded to bust out my Magua and cut me off a few chunks. Worked like a charm. Then they proceeded to give me shit, until they ended up in the same conundrum, at which point it was "Hey can I borrow that?"

"Hell no. Shouldn't have made fun of the guy that was better prepared."

+1 for the knife junkies out there.

The M-18 is going places. The Boss has forbidden me from revealing too much, but..um..maybe hang around a magazine stand in..I dunno..September? :D

This is the fun part of making knives. I'm sittin at the local biker bar waiting on Diesel D. He hard copied a bunch of stuff concerning TMHunt custom knives for me. Gonna go over a few things before he goes on a benifit ride. Gonna be a nice day for it. There's also gonna be so cool stuff comin up for the shop. Stay tuned!

That bar sells 18 oz. Bottles O' beer for 3 bucks, for the record.

I recently let the Magua have a break from my pocket so the ZT I bought right before it could earn it's keep. There really was no comparison though, so once I got the Magua back where it went she bit me twice to show her displeasure. I think I need to not make that kind of a mistake again and just give in to the fact that Magua is now the only knife that belongs in that pocket. :/

In other news, I plan on trying to get some more pics together this week sometime, and hopefully show her off a little better than she has been thus far. If the weather holds I will get some outside at some point too!

Ha! That serves you right. You know me well enough D to know I make my knives to use. You obviously pissed the Magua off by putting it away. That will teach ya! You can send me that crappy ZT as a suitable sacrifice to the Magua to ensure this sort of thing never happens again! ;)

So yesterday I spent about 4 hours in the woods in a futile search for the elusive morel. I had the surprise company of my 11y.o. nephew, who only wanted to hulk-smash everything with the M-18. Seeing the havoc he was inflicting on all things arboreal, I quickly established a dead-trees only rule. I have a 15 month old toddler and was therfore unprepared for the energy level an 11 year old boy scout can apply towards making walking sticks outta dead trees. I did attempt to focus his fury, and was able to teach him a couple things about optimum strike angle (as opposed to blindly hacking) as well as the benefits of the muliplte edges of this fine blade. We made kindling and tinder, and didn't lose any fingers between us! Sorry, no pics this time, but I'll definitely have a camera next time I put an '18 in his hands. If middle schoolers had any money, you'd be sold outta 18's every week! He has requested a signed copy of the Tactical Knives issue, (come to think of it, so do I) and wants me to arrange a meeting with Todd Hunt ASAP. LOL. This kid will be one of your best customers in a few years and it was great bonding with him over our mutual interest in blades. I was packing my BK9 in Psyop's sheath, which ain't too shabby either. 'Twas a good day.

I enjoy answering the emails we get from people interested in Todd's blades, I really should do it more often! :D
Anyway, a couple of you identified yourselves as Blade Forum members, so if you read this, I have replied!
Blade Show is fast approaching and so is the Tactical Knives issue. I think I need to have a sit-down with the reclusive Mr. Hunt this weekend.
I'm not the only one who thinks he's about to become a VERY busy man, am I?
