The Fusion Battle Choppasaurus Is Coming 3-5-2023 At 9:00PM Eastern . . . .

"Ding" means I got my shipping notice just now.

"Tomorrow" is when it's scheduled to be in my greedy little hands!

Does that mean I'm the first to get a shipping notice? I'd be shocked if so seeing as I ordered at last call. But I feel famous now! Lol

Stonewashed and black G10 here.

Pics to be posted of course once I get her in hand.

Here she is! Fresh out of the package.

First thoughts : OOOOH YEEEAH!

I already own the AFBM so I figured it'd be just like getting another of those, the new knife excitement wouldn't be there this time like when you get a new model you haven't ever had. I figured that since only the blade profile was slightly different, I'd just be like "Ok, cool" and move on with my day.

NOPE!

This thing has been stuck on my mind throughout the rest of the work day. I'm in love with this drop point and this is also my first time owning a Busse in the stonewash finish. Now I see why people like them so much. I'm mostly a satin finish guy but this stonewash is much more attractive to my eye than the stonewash on any other blade I've ever had. It's finer and more uniform, like a misty/hazy finish which still allows a bit of underlying shine to come through. I love it! It definitely won't be the last stonewash I ever get from them.

And the G10 handle, man, beautifully done and feels just perfect. I was afraid that it might be a little harsh in the texturing being a less forgiving and harder material than the canvas micarta, but the Busse crew did a fantastic job in smoothing it out. No hot spots whatsoever. I'm so glad I chose this material as it looks great. Love that black contrast with the blade. Looks means and ready for action.

I absolutely cannot wait to find some time this week to destroy some lumber. I'm dying to duplicate the 2x4 test Dan did in the video.

Thanks Jerry Busse Jerry Busse and crew!

Enjoy some crappy photos and videos I managed to take while sitting cramped in the car with this beast. Just had to share.

I really like the flat spine and wished my anorexic battle mistress was flat as well.

Looks really good :-)

I like it better too. It's a nice traditional or classic look. (but I still like the style on the Anorexic too)

I'll have to take some measurements or comparison shots later but I'm betting it is the exact same as the Anorexic but with all the humps "filled in" and a bit more blade height all the way out to the tip as it's less pointy than the Anorexic. Should make it a bit more blade heavy which means it'll hit just that much harder.

Exactly. Clean and simple.
