Awesome new setup LW! I've actually been looking for a textured CF myself vaguely, but I totally missed that one. I can't wait to see your Pond Scum Shane. With your awesome other incomings I'm sure you can find something to dress up with it! :D
 
Congrats Shane! Slap it on the bronze anodized wharnie and give it a look. It compliments the bronze anodized soooooo well :D

Probably a dumb question, but how does the textured CF feel? Is it any different than the g10 in terms of feel? I never used to be a carbon fiber fan, but it has grown on me quite a lot, and I'm slowly drifting towards having to have it.

Haha! Textured CF is a little more grippy! I like it much more than the g10 personally. You can still see the weaves of CF run through it. I think it's a better choice :)

More grippy is the exact correct phrase to get me to buy one. Looks like I have something new to lookout for now! Also I love the pictures. I'm thinking maybe either blue or bronze hardware/bead too. I feel like I should dress my xm up a bit more ;)

That's the fun part... being able to dress up how you like...

Seem like the pivots are hard to come by.. So if you find one snag it!!
 
I think I've been watching too much Archer lately (getting ready for the new season), but the carbon fiber is looking a little awesome lately despite my general dislike of black. If it's more grippy that's a done deal once I can find one for sale or trade.

The CF is almost two toned. Black at one angle and slightly grey at another. It's really hard to capture in pics.
 
Hello guys! Soon I will join the hinderer club with a sterile 3.5" gen 4 Duratech 20cv spanto nonflipper. I am very very excited! This will also complete my crk/strider/hinderer triumvirate, which has been a goal of mine for a long time. I'll post pics when it arrives.
 
Can't wait to see it William! And I agree with Rubi... the best for last :) I had the all 3 at once before. Then I sold them to fund more Hinderers :thumbup:

Ha! I'm waiting for the new season of Archer to kick off as well!

Textured CF is my (currently) favorite scale. IMO it has the best combination of functionality (really grippy) and good looks.

Flashpoint!!!!!!, 3" Spanto, Blade 2014, the list goes on and on...And nothing I just listed as examples is certain to be mine or (in some cases) even confirmed, in any way, for creation.
