The Hinderer Anticipation Thread - What Are YOU Waiting for?

This guy's waiting for a sterile 3.5 slicer flipper to pop up for Edc. I absolutely love my XM-24 slicer, but I'd love to have a more "carry-friendly" size with a flipper, since it's a non-flip. I never used to want a slicer grind, but man...I love it! And I love my CF textured scales :)

Hello guys! Soon I will join the hinderer club with a sterile 3.5" gen 4 Duratech 20cv spanto nonflipper. I am very very excited! This will also complete my crk/strider/hinderer triumvirate, which has been a goal of mine for a long time. I'll post pics when it arrives.

Welcome to the sickness! You'll wonder why you waited so long.

Awesome new setup LW! I've actually been looking for a textured CF myself vaguely, but I totally missed that one. I can't wait to see your Pond Scum Shane. With your awesome other incomings I'm sure you can find something to dress up with it! :D

I've got one on my 24 over here, but almost never carry it in favor of my 18. But I promised the pretty new Wharnie I'd at least show it around the base. Plus, I need pics before Rob demands it back! :p :D

hello!

thanks to you guys and your awesome photos:

incoming:

XM18 3,5 spanto
titanium handle screws blue&bronze
titanium standoffs blue&bronze
armorers tool dlc fde

maybe: translucent green scale ???

want list: xm18 wharnie, xm18 dlc....

....is it normal to crave the next hinderer, even before the first one arrived? :D

Yes, it would be abnormal NOT to ;)

Yes, "Craving the next Hinderer" is Normal. I'd worry if someone could actually NOT have that craving.

I'm sure their inner song on that day would be...

"...You've lost that loving feeling
Oh that loving feeling
You've lost that loving feeling
Now it's gone gone gone
Whoa-oh..."

Mid December I purchased my first Hinderer and first flipper. An orange XM 3.5 slicer. Spent the next two weeks taking skin off my flinger as I perfected my flip. At that point the knife and flipper was starting to grow on me. Picked up a Hinderer tool took the knife apart, lubed and properly adjust the pivot. F...me !! :D Hasn't left my pocket since.

Incoming are :

* My 2nd XM Gen 4 3.5 Slicer Flipper
* CF textured 3.5 scale
* Blue anodized (standoffs, scale crews, pivot screw)

I need to stay off this forum or it's going to be an expensive year.

....and for some crazy reason I've already been able to justify my next. Full Ti XM 3.5 slicer...or I might even try a Spanto.

Ahhh Yes. W e l c o m e ..... w e l c o m e..... walk toward the light.... :D

But seriously, welcome. You are in good company and we understand ;)

Hey Rubi...just had a thought... How sweet do you think a Skinner FXM or Flashpoint would be?

Yes. Hell Yes... the Skinner in any/all permutations "speaks" to me. Love it, adore it, I walk my house daily staring blankly/vacuously off into directions unidentifiable in purpose, much like an alzheimers victim searching the backyard shed for car keys lost a half-century ago.
I mumble, "where is it..... it has to be here s o m e w h e r e..... why wouldn't eye have a skinner here s o m e w h e r e, I love it so,
I have pictures of people I don't even like EVERYWHERE and some that breath pretty close on a regular basis. WHY the heck wouldn't I have one (or TWO) of the "thing" I love most in the world ..... right HERE SomeWhere!!h
Ok, I'll keep looking, You guys keep reading and maybe - someday- I will find my beloved "SKINNER" here ....Somewhere.
Hey..... WHAT'S THat ........... nevermind, it was a squirrel. Appareantly he found his nut, finally. Hey buddy good for you. "bang"

Sorry Mr. Squirrel, I was frustrated :) nothin' personal.

Sweet enough that Geico should make a commercial with a couple guys playing guitars…

I would sell body parts for a Skinner FXM!

You guys are funny!!!

But I do hope for something like this to someday exist. And further hope you guys with the most want get them.

Hey yall, I'm very tardy with picture posting and tons of thread commenting (which I need to start catching up on). I've been obnoxiously sick for way to long since for some reason my cold morphed into the plague or something of the sort. Anyway, I'm 98% better and finally less lazy and sickly, here is a picture of my XM dressed up with my new CF scale from prelude. It's absolutely gorgeous and I'm totally sold- only scales I'll ever need are textured CF!

Oh and for fun sake, this is a picture I took for another thread in another forum but it also shows the new scale in a more natural location.
