The Hinderer Anticipation Thread - What Are YOU Waiting for?

Thanks. I sure don't need another another knife addiction. It's hard enough to control my CRK one. With the Hinderer at least you can add different hardware instead of getting a whole new knife. Of course I wouldn't mind having a wharncliffe, or a custom spearpoint. Oh god.

Congrats HR! That's a beauty. Be careful they are addicting as hell.

Nice Shane! Can't wait to see what you've got in store on Friday.

Nothing earthshattering, just a frag G-10 scale I've been wanting to get for a while.. Should look pretty good on the WF Wharnie..

Don't forget about DLC....

humblerodent, it never stops!! Good luck to ya!! Haha! Even more great pics you added here. Pretty country over in your part of the woods :D Glad you got your slicer finally too

Just bought another XM-18 3.5" Slicer Gen 4.

Next week (I think) I will be on the hunt for a custom Wharncliffe.

WOW HR that is a beauty!!! congrats! I'm glad the wait paid off.
Those are gorgeous mountain BTW!!
PS: sorry but after reading your last post I might say you are screwed :-)

HR, I only have 2 folders. An XM 18 slicer and Sebenza 25. Guess which one gets carried 6 out of every 7 days? You made a great choice with getting a Hinderer:)

I only have a Sebenza and lost count of the total on the XMs...just sayin'.

I don't have a Sebenza :p

But seriously, before I got my first XM (3" Prod Spanto flipper) I had looked at and handled several Sebenzas - of various sizes and configurations. They never really did it for me, quality knife yes but didn't ring my bell so to speak. Then, the day I pulled the trigger on that 3" (the only one I've gotten from a B&M knife store too, btw) I had it and a small Seb on the counter side-by-side. I walked away, did a couple of laps around the store, left, got in my truck, sat there, got out, went back inside, and bought the XM :D

Something about it just felt right. Haven't looked back since.

I hear ya.

To be clear, there's no wrong choice, it's a to each his own. My wants/needs equal "this" item...your wants/needs may also equal "this" item but may lean toward "that" item.

Yep, totally agree. But, my Chevy is better'n your Ford :p

My blue/black frag scale came in along with a Steel Flame skull filler tab and skull nut.
I now need to decide on a paracord color and knot combo to make a lanyard with a Steel Flame Crusader bead for it.
My Translucent green scaled one will sport a lanyard with a Starlingear Gasser two tone cooper/brass flame green tone bead.

Two is one and one is none. You need another one ;)

Choice? Who said anything about choice? All of the above please!

Read the post above these words of mine you quoted and it seems a choice was made.

As for further choice...I often choose what goes into my pocket(s)...you?

Was only joking and poking fun of myself and my fellow knife addicts. If I only needed a Hinderer OR a Sebenza, I wouldn't have a room full of knives.
