A lot of good-natured support here from a broad spectrum of new and old trough dwellers--fun to share with you hogs and very gratifying for this old porker to see. Thanks to all for participating--with over 7,000 views you've obviously made a powerful statement.

Now ... where's the dang knife?
 
As far as actual sale prices, the Basic 6 LE was $277 based on a “special” 10-day-only limited offering. The Basic 10 LE “Special Forum Discount” price was $337 ($327 if you bought more than one). So if it follows the average, the Basic 8 LE would be right around $300 (possibly a tad more since those prices are two years old).
 
At this point, I need a large knife to round off my kits. It's either going to be a Hellrazor off the exchange or a Basic 8, although both seem unlikely at this point.
