Thanks. It's perplexing to me how light it is. The blade may be hollow.

The way it's balanced definitely lends to it feeling very light in hand.

resinguy, it's a Spec-Ops Brand Combat Master "Long". Fits perfectly.

I usually buy some Green foam blocks from Micheal's craft store which can be used to form the sheath insert to the shape of the blade.

Skwurll, that sheath looks amazing with the B8 aboard. Did it take much shaping of the insert to get it to fit right? Are you using green foam such as is used for flower arrangements or what kind is it? Do you actually approximate the shape of the blade with it, or if not, how do you use it to shape the insert?

No. Not yet. That's just the protective film on the blade from the shop.

Got my two B8s today and love em! Got one in tan and one black! Best of the Basic series in my opinion! For my needs it's just about perfect and I love the edge geometry applied to them too!
