Congrats on your new Busse- Something different from a Mora knife that new Basic of yours.:D:thumbup:

Haha! Yes, quite different! :) For the same price I could get about 50 Mora knives here... I'm looking forward to give it a run for the money. ;)

She arrived. Amazing knife. Never have owned any with RES-C handles - I really like em. Should've bought two B8's.

Anyone one know what the greasy lube like substance is on the blade never had on any of my BUSSE's before and Dawn wont remove it.

Can't get over how compact that blade looks for an 8 incher--very "minimalist" set-up, I like it a lot.

Have never received a Busse with heavy lube--I wonder if that's something new they're trying?

Thanks for the pics, ni1s, skwurll and PTPO.

Thanks Will and thanks for getting this thread going! WD-40 took most of it off. Will try to get better pics up.

Getting hard waiting for tomorrow! Gonna keep my eyes peeled for the Brown truck of joy!!!!!!!

What can I say but WOW,,, this knife is a nimble BEAST. I can see why people say its so light for its size, a "lightweight chopper".
My collection is small, barely piglet worthy, but I think I have some great blades here. Next on my list is a smaller blade,, probably an AD,, and then finally, a NMFSH to round out the mix. That is of course until Jerry releases the folder:D:thumbup:
Big thanks to everyone who posted this knife into my hands!!!

This thing looks sort of SoD size (although it appears to be a little larger).

Anyone who has held both...how do they compare? The SOD LE is probably one of my favorite Scrapyard knives out there. I had one a long time ago and sold it and have regretted it since and they seem to pop up infrequently these days.
