I'm Happy....Can't wait until tree pruning season....Bwaaaahahahahaha....:D:D:D

Anybody notice that the "ASH" guys have fallen off the Radar....after the posting of the ad in Blade magazine they must have figured it was a LOCK....:D

Probably is a lock, although with Jerry it's not so much a matter of IF as it is WHEN. ;)

Exhibit A: The Basic 8 LE :D

I agree totally.....look how long after the initial response from Jerry on the B-8's....might be just as long for the ASH-2's....DOH...:D

Maybe the fact they're already spending ad dollars on the ASH2 release is a positive indicator things are on a faster track--hope so, for those guys' sake.

Fixed that for ya. Some of us still have hope! ;):D

Right again Alex......Did you get to fondle the new design folder...huh huh didja didja....give it up come on spill it....Hope springs eternal...

Here are a couple of quick indoor shots (apologize for quality) of how Mark's rig rides underneath my pack belt and also obscured by my arm, so that it attracts minimal attention but is immediately deployable. (Keep in mind this is a mirror image, and I'm wearing the rig cross-draw. Camera is in my strong hand (right handed). :

Fit, finish and retention are dead solid perfect.

Could you elaborate on the retention for this rig? Can you turn it upside down and give it a hard shake without it falling out?

Absolutely, I can turn it upside down and give it several strong shakes with no movement of the knife--more action that it would get on belt, certainly. Two aspects that help retention are that the knife blade is not terribly thick for its length @ .22" and the knife overall weighs only 12 oz, so with Mark's good, snug fit the friction retention is more than adequate for my needs. In fact, I use the corner of the sheath as a thumb break to get the knife started when I draw it.

Only ONE!?!? :D :D :D

Wellllllllll, okay.... maybe 2 or 3 or???:D

They have to be made and released first! I have shop credit that needs to be spent and I can't think of anything else they could come up with that I want the funds to go to more.

Thanks for keeping the hope alive for a Basic BEAST fellas!!!:thumbup::thumbup:

I can only say this. Drank JWB with the Bossman. My hope has been replenished. My faith restored.
Good? ;)

We're all just trying to help Stumpy!;)

THANK YOU SIR!!!:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I appreciate the support and hopefully the Blade '15 CG's weren't the last of the B8's. Bring on the HOGB8 or the 7.62...(I'm down for either...or BOTH):D

PS- Jaxx... Great shots of #27!!!
