Excellent pics and eval Will! Love the clipped spine on that one!!! If you haven't given it a name yet, may I suggest... Will York's "War Feather".;)

Good mock-up Tim! That would be a heck of a set (Maybe add a DDHG Boss Street to get the small knife slot covered and you'd be ready to tackle anything).

Very descriptive--The "War Feather" it is!

Light as a feather but ready for war...of every kind and venue. :D

Thanks Stumpy!

I'm still a little delirious. :D

The 30B8 guys are the ones driving it now--I thought for sure we were done once everyone got his knife. Kudos all around.

Thanks, Stumpy--that's very kind of you. Two super blades and among my all-time favorites.

I know we both miss that Basic 9 -- one helluva beater. :D

Will glad you found the size that works for you best.

The Basic 9 and Basic 10 are nearly identical in size. So if you liked the 9, then the 10 should work for you.

Thanks for the tip, my friend.

And it's true of that particular B9 without a doubt. Blade length was actually 10"--the "original" Basic 10? :D. There used to be more variation in both length and thickness than is typical these days, as you're well aware.

Yeah, I am considering one of the B8's as well. Looks like a really nice package.

All this talk about B8's & B9's motivated me to take a few pics of some res-c choppers. Just need that Bolo13 on top! :D

With a TG14 over the B8 for size & blade shape comparison.

And for the 30B8 project, spine shot of the Regulator & B8. Same handle thickness, should be able to go .30 cal in the basic handle too. ;)

Oh man does that pic give me hope we could actually see the 7.62 x .30BEight become a reality!!! Bring on the HOG B8!!!

THANKS for those pics Tim!!!

You're welcome Stumpy & Will. I figured this thread needed some size reference for those just discovering the great B8.

Cut it out, thanks, pics of users are my favorite. :)

Well Tom, if toys are things you enjoy using to put a smile on your face, I may be guilty as charged. :D Since I drive for a living I try to make every mile a memory since those go with me everywhere! Some of the best miles are measured in inches of steely chops! ;)
