THE Hollow Handle Knife Thread

Thanks Arc, the new one is lighter than the surv9 and pretty nimble in the hand. Very well balanced and really has a good bite chopping saplings. When I get back from Ft Knox next week I'll put it to work more and get some better pics.

Pitdog, the Bushman is often overlooked as a HH knife. I have seen some interesting mods done to seal the handle so it functions as a more traditional hollow handle (i.e. the ability to store items in the handle). Thanks for posting.

Any of you guys know where to get aa rated 18mm compasses from? None of any quality I can find here in UK. I think the randall model 18 looks better with a bigger compass in the end cap and I think 18mm is the correct size

This is the skull crusher

Email and ask if they ship to the uk. If you can't find someone that will I'll get one and ship it to you.

Knice piece, Dave. Do check back in, let's see some notching with those teeth...

I like my "skullcrusher" pommels on the 18's. (could do without the moniker though)

Mostly just wanted the lanyard capability at the butt instead of the guard, might even round them off a bit. I'd hate to take a tumble and catch one in the side...

This thread is full of win!

Old photo, still pertinent...

The Saw Teeth - No Saw Teeth (ST/NST) variant in the Black Sheath went to Germany; TAH picked up the Clip Point #15/18 (extremely rare, probably 1 of 1); and the Mini #18 went to Illinois yesterday. I'd love to keep them all, but some haven't seen the light of day in many years, so it's time for someone else to enjoy them too.

You guys have got some kick-butt knives, and have really opened my eyes. Thanks for that. :)

Not hollow handle warning...this is what I want next...without serrations, everything else the same

But I can't find one :-(
