AAAAAAAAAAAAAnndddd we're back.

Yessir!!

For now anyway.

trying to decide if i wanna go work on my knife handle... Or be lazy and watch TV. I know which one i SHOULD pick... But yea.... Its cold as hell down there. No heat in the basement. Im going to have to pick up a good space heater for down there. At least by January when i get the 2nd batch of hex hawks in. And when the cold really hits. This time im running 60 of them at a quality 5 cut, thats the highest quality. Last time i ran at a 3, a little cheaper and not bad but it left some edges a bit rough and they had to be sanded down, which i did by hand and took a while. Quality 5 will save some time, and since im running more than 50 im dropped down to the lowest cost per piece which is a good thing and off-sets the price of the higher quality cut. But hand filing the bevels of 60 will be "fun" LOL

I'm in need of some more hand tools. I've been watching the bay for a couple snap on breaker bars and ratchets, but I keep on missing the end of the auction. I missed a 1/2" snap on breaker bar that went for like $25 the other day. Missed a few ratchets too. I guess I just need to set an alarm or something. I'll probably never spend the money for new snap on stuff, but if I can get decent deals on used ones I'll be happy.

up in the middle of the night with a sick baby :(

snotty little guy cant sleep

I'm just keeping myself awake, so I stay awake at work tomorrow night. Tomorrow is my night where I put about a lot more driving time in and have to stay awake later.

Hope the lil guy gets to feeling better TBL.

Thanks AC

hes eaten, burped, farted numerous times, and screamed at me in his little sicky squeek for 10min. Me thinks hes going to crash soon :D

TBL - Sorry to hear about your little one. Hope he gets better soon. My youngest is 15 years old so not too many sleepless nights lately. Well actually that's not true. I work nights so I have 5 sleepless nights every week. :D
But my little girl doesn't have anything to do with that. On the other hand my wife and I are pretty much agreed that we will allow her to start dating next year. She turns 16 on Monday. I gotta tell you I'm REALLY not looking forward to all the drama that comes with having a teenage daughter with boy trouble. Thank God my wife will be doing most of the heavy lifting in that department.

Thanks RK!
My little girl is 2 :D still a long ways to go until I have to worry about boys. By that time I'll have more guns ;) and will have hopefully raised her to make proper choices:thumbup:

I don't have kids, but my sister is 3.5 years younger than me. I do not envy those with a teenage daughter.

I have 5 daughters. 1 son...

The daughters about drove me crazy... Certainly upped my liquor intake for a lot of years.
My son, the youngest, just turned 20... And with that, my IQ dropped further. I now apparently have the IQ of a dried turnip.

Doc

I decided to work on the handles. Did so. Now i can relax while the epoxy cures.

Its barely 4am.... I hope everyone didnt go to sleep or something LOL

I'm not in bed yet, but I'm headed there soon. My brother stopped by a while ago to borrow my cordless impact and some sockets to change my nieces tire. He drove the 15 miles to town from his place to help her and her boyfriend, but when he got here, they had no way of getting the tire off.

Thats rough bud. What the end up doing?

Im gunna take a shower to get all this wood dust off me and then watch some TV.

Good deal, glad they got it handles.

I think i misunderstood the first time, i thought you were saying after he got the tool from you he STILL didnt have what he needed.

Hmmm... Not so sure about the hypoallergenic claims of tungsten anymore... Or maybe im just weird, but im getting little bumps JUST wear the ring touches. It says cobalt free... Hmm maybe it uses nickel as the binder and im allergic to nickel. Its a possibility.
