Yea... I need to quit being such a baby about going to local stores. I just hate dealing with lots of people.


Got a nice mail call today!

My HATE dust made it in and this stuff is SPICY!! Came with a cool patch too! Glad to be a part of this as its for charity.

Also got in a hand carved copper Santi Se gator pendant that was part of a trade. This thing is really neat, the gators mouth opens up and all. As a gator fan it was hard to resist this LOL

by the way, I just ate (packaged) Japanese kimchee. And it was good.

Might have a hard time finding tubing, but the solid pin stock is carried a lot of times, and the value is a lot better than buying it from a knife supply store. All of that stuff is bought in bulk, then cut up and sold in smaller pieces for twice or more cost.

My local Ace has the little box display of K&S hobby stuff. I think they're all around $2-3 a foot. Except for the really small diameters, those you get 3-5 ft. for the same price.

Maybe as well as praying you should drop a couple dozen homemade chocolate chip cookies off at the HR office. Or cake....I think either one would better your chances.

Seriously I wish you the best of luck. Sucks to be marking time at a job you dislike, especially at our age.

It's one of the ONLY things I've done in years....though I've only changed employers, really. I still do the same job. Actually, after 20 years, it's starting to get more than a little old. But you know, mouths to feed, bills to pay....and some occasional steel to buy.

Today was a good day. Got to spend time with my family. Had a lovely date / dinner with the wife. :thumbup: good Birthday if I must say so myself.

My wife / kids also give me one of these :D

I couldn't take any pictures at dinner... because the ambiance was a little to dark. When we came in the hostess was nice enough to seat us right in front of the fire place. Got me a 20oz bone-in rib cut steak with mashed potatoes, veggies, and fried mushrooms. Washed it down with a citrus beer (kinda tasted orangey - didn't get the name) that was nice and refreshing.

Birthday celebration #2 with the inlaws coming on Wednesday! :thumbup:

My mother inlaw's Birthday is on Wednesday, so we normally just combine em on mine or hers :D
