The Inkosi Appreciation Thread

Ok all cleaned up and put back together. Ended up using 242 as my VC-3 got knocked off the table and stepped on when my pups put on an impromptu WWE match in the kitchen. So it will sit 24 hours and go back into service. If the pin loosens again back to the mother ship it goes.
I'll be really surprised if it doesn't hold.

It was interesting to see the rub marks on the stop pin. It seems it was turning off the screw not the screw backing out.
I hope this is over now as I am quite enamored with this knife.

Fingers crossed! Let's hope it works. If not, I think they could fix it with a slightly fatter stop pin. Still, that would mean parting with your knife for a while.

Or Loctite 248 Red?

It just needs a fatter stop pin...
If the stop pin was any larger it would rub on the blade when opening and closing. I don’t even think a fatter one would fit thru the show side scale. This first time I tore it down I didnt think it would come apart it was so tight. But it’s loctited again and if it moves it will go back.

24 hours up yet?

Just picked this Large Inkosi up and it has completely taken over. Loving this knife.

Strange question? I have both Sebenza 25's and Inkosi's and like the platform in the CRK line as wells most of the others. I know what the physical differences are in the 2 knives, but do any of you have any real world preferences, likes, dislikes on either?

For me, they’re the same on the outside. It’s when you take them apart for cleaning that makes a difference. The tab on the 25 washer sucks as well as flat spot that has to be positioned correctly is a pain at times to get right. If you remember on the first 25’s the stop pin didn’t move and that wasn’t an issue. Then they were made with screws on both sides of the stop pin and it became movable. I prefer the clip on the 25 on the lock bar over the angled clip on the Inkosi. The micarta looks wonky on the Inkosi.
