It's official. I like the inkosi more than the sebenza, not that I dislike the sebenza at all. I wish I could get the deeper hollow ground blade of a sebenza while keeping the stock thickness of the inkosi

I only have one word for you…Umnumzaan!I wish I could get the deeper hollow ground blade of a sebenza while keeping the stock thickness of the inkosi![]()
You know it’s only because it’s a better knife, Right?I hate all of you.
That is all.
There is just no going back. Ive sold 3 Inkosi in the past week thinking I would just carry and collect Sebenzas...

It's a bit hard to describe to someone that hasn't handled one. It has a different , heft, action, feel... Its smoother then the most broken in 21 and feels even more robust then the zaan. The knife inspires confidence in use. Yes, you would be hard pressed to break a Sebenza without abusing it but once you use an Inkosi the Sebenza feels like a weekend knife not a work knife.i mean besides those finger grooves and the small differences on the blade, whats the difference?
I realized I didn't answer the physical differences.i mean besides those finger grooves and the small differences on the blade, whats the difference?

I understand that that is just subjective opinion, and I am of course nor bad mouthing the Sebenza. However the Inkosi is the culmination of the evolution of the Sebenza. In my opinion it's Chris Reeve's finest folder design and while I love the 31, the Sebenza Line didn't need to go any farther then the 25.
Pivot is the same size.I realized I didn't answer the physical differences.
Larger Pivot
No Pivot bushing
Much larger " full size" washers
Larger floating stop pin
thicker blade stock
more aggressive jimping on the blade spine
Nope. The Inkosi, Umnumzaan and 25 share the same larger pivot than the other Sebenza’s have.Pivot is the same size.
One is a pivot bushing for the Sebenza, It does not transfer force to the scale so provides no extra strength. The actual larger pivot of the of the Inkosi, Umnumzaan and 25 does.
