Damn, that is so tempting! That would give me cf versions in all 3 blades! For those that are interested...KA now has the Large CF Inkosi Tanto in stock. First large Tantos I've seen in Magnacut, and exactly what I needed to complete my Inkosi set!

Must remain strong and fight the urge!![]()
Same here, so much for my spending freeze. I have a lg pj inkosi tanto on the way that I bought because I got a good deal. Probably would have bought the carbon tanto if that wasn’t the case. The bad part (for me) is that I guessed they wouldn't bother with the CF Inkosi Tanto, so I bought two CF Insingos with the intention of buying a Magnacut Inkosi PJ Tanto and swapping scales. The goal was to have one CF in each blade.
Shoulda waited a bit. Oh well. Nothing wrong with an extra CRK.
Yep broken and a fix applied. Not sure about CRK doing it with the rounding but maybe. As long as you are happy with the deal you got and the knife then rock on!So I just got this inkosi tanto in. I bought it as a user for a good price so I’m happy with it but I think the tip may have been broken and re profiled at some point. It also measures at 3 7/16” which seems a lil short as well. The seller did say he thinks it went to the spa before he got it. If re profiled it looks like it could’ve been done by crk.
The main reason I think it was re profiled is because the front edge is rounded instead of straight.
Pics compared to my only other tanto which is a sebbie.
Would appreciate yall’s thoughts?

Yea, I’m cool with it. I figured it was a broken tip. Just wanted to confirm.Yep broken and a fix applied. Not sure about CRK doing it with the rounding but maybe. As long as you are happy with the deal you got and the knife then rock on!
Huh, that is similar. I was also wondering if just the inkosi tanto was different from the sebbie. In comparison it’s a bigger blade than the sebbie. What about the length of yours? Mine does look a little more rounded. Here's some examples of factory tanto tips on ones I've owned. They are similar to yours.

I just compared to my inkosi insingo and dp, it’s about 3/16” shorter than them. I’m thinking broken tip at some point.I have anInsingoTanto Inkosi inbound. When it arrives I'll measure length to the tip for ya. I have multiple CRKs in duplicate, and most of them differ in their grinds, even when coming from the same batch. Hand-ground indeed!
Gives 'em character.
My thoughts are you should sell me that sebenza…So I just got this inkosi tanto in. Man, I wish I could! It’s my first CRK and I bought it at bladeshow Atlanta. Didn’t realize till they were checking me out that I also had to pay Georgia’s 10% sales tax. So I overpaid and could never get what I got in it back. So that being the case and it being my first one, it’s a keeper for sure. However, if I ever have to let it go I’ll garuntee you first dibs.My thoughts are you should sell me that sebenza…. That inlay is just stunning, every time I see it I am jealous haha.
Nothing wrong with that, and honestly overpaying won’t mean much in 20 years either.Man, I wish I could! It’s my first CRK and I bought it at bladeshow Atlanta. I did see a small one with similar grain not long ago. I’ll keep my eye out for ya as well.
The first two pics are w different Inkosi, and the last one is a Sebbie. But those are pics I took a while back and I don't have blade lengths, but they came direct from CRK like that.Huh, that is similar. You’ve got it bad brother. Unfortunately there is no cure so you just have to let it run its course. We are here for you during you hours of need!So … I recently acquired a Bog Oak inlay Mnandi, a PJ small Inkosi Insingo, and a small Macassar ebony inlay Sebbie Insingo. Yes, ok, so I’m a bit obsessed with the Insingo-style blade. I love the smaller sizes, I have absolutely zero need for another large thumbstud folder (I have a few other very nice ones already), but of course I’m wondering if I want to pursue a large Inkosi Insingo. Apparently I think I do, or why else would I be posing the question to you bunch of enablers. It wouldn’t be any time soon, because I’ve totally blown my knife budget for the next five years, which I expect I’ll completely forget in another month or two. Oh yeah, that includes a beautiful iMamba that I also didn’t need, so I surely won’t need another one of those.
I really need to get back to my cheapskate roots if I’m to have any chance of retiring before I’m pushing up daisies.
