The Izula can cut but how does it throw?

Now I feel bad for Mr. Shotty, haha. I'd hate to show up to the ER with a severe grease burn and try and explain what happened.

don't worry.........he doesn't get involved in cooking breakfast...his job is clean up and taking care of the toast.

Personally, I cook bacon almost exclusively in the nude, but then I use the oven (way easier and gives good, consistent results for me). I also throw knives pretty frequently, but not good ones. I've got lots of crappy knives laying around from my misspent youth. I don't find it to be particularly destructive, but it depends on technique (my best friend has broken the tips off many, many knives). It's not something I'd consider a 'useful skill', but then neither is underwater beer-bonging, yet both are fun. This is all in my extremely unprofessional opinion, of course, but based on many years of real-world experience. :D

do you use a pampered chef pan? i cook the bacon in the oven too! it's FANTASTIC that way!:D

While I wouldn't see much gain by throwing an izula(too small, too light), I really do like the idea of a medium to large utility knife that had a suitable design, so it could be thrown as well, if needed (the no-spin/shuriken style). That could be helpful in a survival or self-defense situation, where you had to quickly throw from any distance.

You guys do realize that throwing knives/pointy objects is a lot harder than you think? Unless you're trained in mall ninjajutsu it's near impossible to hit moving targets.

Whenever I cook bacon in the nude I do it in the front yard.
The smell of the bacon brings the neighbors around and it does get embarrassing but what the heck.

Yes I realize it takes a lot of training. So what?
