Interesting. I was under the impression that the zaan is hollow ground the same way as the Seb 21/31. But it's like the Inkosi?I
I may be mistaken on the wheel size for the Zaan. It is hollow ground like a Sebenza.

Thanks, that's the sort of experienced and technical knowledge I was looking for. The only one I've ever laid hands on was a Zaan and I remember being impressed.
Anyone ever seen any of the three with a polished blade? I've seen on special dealer edition Zaan, but it seems that was a long time and no longer available.
Also available in gold!Very cool. Angled clip...so that must be an Inkosi. I'm on the hunt!
It’s kinda what we do…you guys are terrible, time to consider a 31 small insingo![]()
Buy a CRK because you want a CRK, and yes most actual mods will void warranty. If embellishments include engraving CRK will do a lot of it. There is a question if simple ano will void, ive heard both yes and no. I do know any finish changes ( scotch bright, polish, blast) will void.Whats the opinions on aftermarket sebenza mods? or embellishments? Does CRK void warranty?

I keep meaning to get the official word on engraving from CRK. It takes 8 weeks for them to do it…I could get it done from others in 3 days but need to be sure it’s fine. Its just Intials.o definitely, thats why i keep it to the plain janes. personally, the inlays took away from the knife. Ive only held the plain janes. Ive seen some after market ano jobs, or like small engravings. I do work with an engraver from time to time and she had mentioned how difficult it was to engrave titanium. Not that I would test it on my small 21s.

I remember when these were on sale. I’m pissed at myself for not getting one while they were available. I love the design.
For those with the lanyard pin still in but without the lanyard attached, does that pin rattle a bit? or is it suppose too...

That's a good idea. Do you need to redab after disassembly, or does it make a sort of filler from that point on that will rejoin tightly?jacobconroy75
mrknife The cleanest way Ive found to do it with no rattle is a dab ( vey small) of the CRK Loctite on both ends stops all rattle.
When I take mine down for cleaning I clean all parts then just reapply when putting together. You just pu a dab on the collar then reassemble Ive had it last many months between cleaning. That's a good idea. CNC ground to replicate a 20" diameter wheel IIRC.I may be mistaken on the wheel size for the Zaan. It is hollow ground like a Sebenza.
