The kinda unspecified CRK talk thread.

Dang! I’m sure that was a wild time!
The 80's and 90's were a pretty interesting period in South FL. I worked on some interesting cases.

One was referred to on the show "Narcos" on Netflix...and another was presented in the movie "Infiltrator" with Brian Cranston. One of the cases was the largest cocaine seizure in the U.S. at the time. (Not my case, but it was one that I worked on from the beginning through its conclusion.)

Lots of drugs, lots of money, lots of arrests and prosecutions.

And a lot of people who aren't around to tell the tales any more !
Kudos for still being around to look back on it all

What does the P stand for? Perc? 🤣

Feels so weird seeing a Sebenza made the same year I was born.

Copied from a post on another site.

“The "P" story: When we introduced the Sebenza, we made +/- 85 purely handmade knives and they were marked H with a number. In 1991, we purchased a CNC Machining Center and were able to produce parts in more volume and with more consistent accuracy. These knives we marked P for Production. The first about 200 were numbered and thereafter, they were just marked with the P. We eventually dropped that marking because it was confusing and we heard of some instances where they were being misrepresented at Prototypes."
