The Knife you'll NEVER get rid of....

Ritter Grip Large M4 Steel and Dobson scales. I use it so often that it is kind of beat up and would make no sense to trade or sell and besides it is just a great knife. I could say the same for the Gayle Bradley. These 2 are my most carried blades.

When I decided to get quality, tough, dependable knife instead of all of those cheap 5 dollar knives I went straight to a fairly higher end knife, that being the ZT0350. It was was my first "real" knife and it will always be in my collection.

Never say never :D
However, I will keep my Krein Dogfish. How can you get rid of the one which worked so HARD for you :)

This is a sweet pic! Now I need one! :)

As for me, I'll never get rid of:

BRKT Bravo 1

- my dad gave it to me and was my first Barkie, and I was so in love with it I talked my dad into buying it. It was too big for his liking (so he says) and gave it to me. It was the knife that started our fixed blade obsession.

BRKT Pro Scalpel

- small knife, but got confiscated by a jerk cop as a weapon ( a 5 inch fixed blade a lethal weapon???) and got me my first night in jail and 1 year probation. It was an anniversary gift from my wife, and she worked hard to get it back from the cops. So I'll never depart with it.

Manix 2 XHP - it's such a sweet knife! Thats all.

And I'm sure the CRK sebenza 21 that's in the mail right now will be on that list as soon as I open the box.

Last year for my birthday, my wonderful girlfriend got me a Sebenza -- a Small Regular Vines -- she's a keeper (the GF, too!):

Spyderco Native S30V.

first "real" knife, and still love it. it gets minimal pocket time just because I like mixing it up now, and longer blades. But I could do everything I need to do with that knife.

Probably my CPM M4 Millie as well. It's such a stellar knife, spyderco NAILED the heat treat for their M4. classy, big, scary, ergonomic, tough, I mean I can go on and on. It just feels so right in hand, and cuts even better.

One knife that I know I would never get rid of, no matter what, would be my regular Para 2. The reason being that my wife bought it for me for my birthday earlier this year and I couldn't possibly love it any more. The ergo's are great. Blade size/shape is perfect (and intimidating). I love that knife. Can't go wrong with S30V.

The one that I have been carrying pretty much for year now; fällkniven U1. Just can't get enough of this knife. It does everything I need and it's a pleasure to use and deploy. It's pretty much flawless for me.

(picture is from when I got it ofcourse)

Sometimes even the one we swear we would not let go of, has to go.:( I've had a few that I thought would be the last one's I would ever get rid of if it came to that. Unfortunately it did. A divorce attorney, at least a good one, is not cheap, so the knives had to go.

Now that that is 3 years in the past, and I'm well on my feet, I would say that the one knife I would keep, come hell or highwater, is my newest one, a John W Smith Extreme SD-3. Just something about the feel and heft of this knife simply endears itself to me.:)

I always thought I'd never get rid of certain knives, but then eventually I get rid of it. I always find something that I end up liking better. right now, I can't imagine not having a Scott Cook Lochsa or a Shane Sibert folder.

I don't know if it qualifies, but I'll never get rid of my RMJ Tactical Eagle Talon.

Or my Busse FFBM

There are a lot of knives I wouldn't want to part with but
the Buck 110's and 112's are at the top of the list that I
would hope to NEVER get rid of...

Are any of those collaboration Bucks? My reason for asking is my knife seller has received a few Buck collaborations recently. Yellowhorse & Painted Pony, they are beautiful knives. But do I need anymore safe queens? I don't carry any of my Paul knives, because they are to nice. If you have viewable pics, send me a link. I would very much like to see them close up.

While my Sebenzas, Striders, Emersons and Spydercos come and go regularly my GEC Jack in Appaloosa Bone will stay forever.
