here is the knife that comes out of tony's belt it is a Gil Hibben Gentleman's Buckle Knife

Does anyone know the knife that Gibbs sticks into the table at the hospital for the director?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated being that it is a bad*** knife, and I want one.

Hey Bud, The knife Gibbs threw into the table was a Zero Tolerance 301, or 300, 302, only difference is color ( 300-black;301-green;302-tan). There was an episode last season where he had this very same knife and Tony had a similar ZT and they cut steaks with it. Its the only knife I ever bought that the wife did not give me a hassle over because she is a fan of the show too. I got a blem from kershawguy here in the forums and I HIGHLY Recommend him, still cant find the blem on it. Saved me alot of $$$ Chec out post #221 in this thead, it has pics of last seasons ZT's

Thanks a lot, much appreciated. I will be purchasing one ASAP, this knife brings a whole new meaning to rule #9. I think I deserve a Gibbs Slap for posting before confirming an order for the knife.

The WASP knife was a murder weapon on tonight's show. Showed up in the first 5 minutes. They even mentioned it by name and accurately explained what it does. Pretty cool that they actually use quality knives on the show.:thumbup:

Buy one thats my advise. Im a Microtech nut as well as collecting other HQ brands, and the ZT 0200 is an awesome knife. Built like a tank, feels better in the hand than my Emerson commander and under $130... absolute bargin.

Also love the thread. NCIS is a can't miss show. Even down here in OZ.

welcome to bladeforums! love ncis and i think this is a great thread. been meaning to pick up a zt0301 for some time, will probably get it after the new year. heard nothing but good reviews about it.
 
This weekend there was an NCIS marathon hosted by, and featuring episodes centered on Tony.

During one of the little promo clips for the marathon we see Tony sitting in a chair, whittling a stick while talking about the marathon. The knife he used appeared to be a Case Seahorse Whittler.
Sorry I don't have a screen shot, see stock photo below.

Assuming it was not an accident that he was using a whittler to do a little whittling, I wonder who the knife nut is on the show (or maybe the network?) that made sure he had the right tool for the job?
 
Ok one of the writers is a member of a knife forum, I saw Abbie go into detail about combat knives why they have guards and what happened to the badguy's hand when he tried to stab someone with his "Sultan Slayer 2000"

Actual episode was about a wacked out lawyer (revealed much later) following his prostitute GF around mudering her johns so he could sleep easy.

At the end Dinozzo and Gibbs are sharing a steak and a Six Pack. They both deploy the ZT's at the same time in the last three minutes.
