I know that this was posted in several other threads but as someone had sugessted, it would be good to start a new one. I copied the post from our VP of Marketing, Dave Visnack, in its entirety.....

Correct Pricing and Special Discount

We have corrected the prices on the Buck Custom Knife Shop. I think everyone will find the corrected prices are more inline with our other products and more consistent with the reliable value that Buck represents.

As a gesture of apology for the confusion, I would like to extend a 15% discount to all BladeForums members for any Buck Custom Knife Shop purchased until 12:00pm on June 2nd. Simply order online and then contact our customer service rep, Pete Mason – pmason@buckknives.com – 1.800.735.2825 x180 and let him know your BladeForums username (handle) and he will apply the discount. If you have already ordered a knife from the new Buck Custom Knife Shop, please let us know and we will honor this new discount.

This is really incredible. :thumbup:

Buck has shown itself once again to be a truly remarkable outfit - not only making fantastic products but also putting the customer first.

(I don't really have any beef with either one of them...I just like the idea of tarring & feathering...) :D

I still don't understand ...... they said the prices were twice as high (2x) as they were supposed to be.

So the new prices should be half what the old prices were.

But most of them aren't anywhere near that good.....some are the same as they were yesterday.

The 2x thing must have been wrong.
 
:cool:...Rocinante, ya better dump your old browser cache...It seems you're lookin' at a "cached picture" of the site as it was before the changes...Only things I see that weren't changed were the base price of the 110 frame and finger-grooves...
 
Sure hope the MOP option comes back someday... guess the $150.00 for it wasn't so bad afterall.

It was only the blades and handles that were accidentally double priced, not the base cost.

And they are showing the new prices just fine with Firefox ever since they were changed this morning.

ELK $82.50
STAG $144.00
Damascus $114.00

Clear your internet cache. :thumbup:

...I use Firefox as well and I still had to clear my cache...Works fine for me...Go up to "Tools" then "Clear Private Data" and don't forget to clear the cookies...

There's a note on the site that says if I join the BCCI I get to pay an additional 35 percent.

Hmmmmmm.......
