the latest on the Custom shop

...I use Firefox as well and I still had to clear my cache...Works fine for me...Go up to "Tools" then "Clear Private Data" and don't forget to clear the cookies...

Thanks, DarrylS......I am now in the same cyberworld as everybody else and the prices look SO much better.

I may just buy a few things.......

:D

Joe,
That is great news, thanks for getting to the bottom of it and for the extra discount for us!

Well,
My joy was short lived.

Can't get the computer here to dump the old prices.

Not worth the hassle to me at this point to try to figure it out.

...Ohen...What browser are ya using?...You have to clear the cache of either IE or Firefox to get the new prices to show up...

I'm getting closer to pulling the trigger on a Ram horn FG with s30v with nickel silver. Sound o.k.? I may need some encouragement.

...Tony THAT is exactly what I ordered this afternoon...It will go for approx. $127 and change when the discount is applied upon completion...I added the rivets for appearance as well tho...

...Kina hope that after all the "drama" we see a buncha "Customs" ordered by the fans...:)

Darryls,
Can you "walk" me through that? I'm using ie and tried to clear it but must have missed something.

Thanks!

You need to get to your tools and internet options and clear all temp internet files (empty cache) and also clear your cookies.

I'm on Firefox so it's a little different for me ("clear private data") but the idea is the same.

...Ohen...Go to "Tools" at the top of your page and click on "Internet Options" at the bottom of the drop down window...Then click on "Delete Cookies" and when the box appears asking if you want to delete all cookies from your temp internet files click "Yes"...I would also click on "Delete Files" then and when it asks if you want to delete all off-line content stored locally click "Yes" again. That should do it. You will have to re-enter your Blade Forums I.D. and password to get back to BF though...This should take care of the problem...:)

Darryls,
Thanks but it didn't clear the old prices, stag is still $288 and damascus $228.

I think it may be a network issue due to where I am.

Maybe I can get Joe to take pitty on me and let me email an order in with the current prices and discount. They have my credit card info on file so I hope it's not an issue.

I'll try to email the gentleman with the email listed in this thread when I figure out what I want.

...That's really weird ohen...That shoulda taken care of the problem. Gooser...Do ya know a better way for ohen to clear his browser cache so he can see the new Custom Shoppe prices???...

I just placed an order for a N/S frame, damascus blade, and Ram horn inlay with pins. Usually I prefer brass with natural materials, but the pics on the new website convinced me to order the nickel silver.
I wish I could offer ohen cepel some computer advice, but I can't:o

You guys are such a bad influence. I'm looking at the NK, FG, Rammy with S30V no pins...Nope...the wife will kill me. I've got a 500 Texas star on order with Larry O....they sure would look nice together....I'll just wait to see what each of yours looks like first :);)

Don't miss your 15 percent discount.......tell her you KNOW you'll be ordering one later in the year and then there will be no discount!!!

She's probably immune to such ploys by now.

:D
