The Les George Knives Thread

Tephra Tuesday:

This Rockeye has a pretty cool backstory. Les originally made a batch of 10 for Wilson Tactical’s Custom Alliance, and they sold them as “BMFs.” He built this one as a quiet insurance policy (number 11) just in case one of the original ten had an issue. Thankfully, they all passed muster, so the backup wasn’t needed. Les ended up hanging onto it and later sold it himself at Blade Show 2014.

The action on this thing is unreal. It's easily the most mechanically satisfying knife I’ve ever owned and it’s extra meaningful to me because it was my first Rockeye.

Here’s another BladeShow ‘24 special MK3 for Sweep Ti Tuesday. While Les did produce a good number of these, I find the pattern on this one particularly unique (especially for ladder damascus) and the action is simply sublime. Drops shut like it’s on bearings!

I love this configuration, was recently selling somewhere else. I let it go and now regret it
Anytime you see an LG tanto, as long as it’s in good shape at a decent price you should jump on it cause there isn’t a whole ton of them out here and Les
Has said several times that he won’t make anymore of them because he hates sharpening them.
