The Les George Knives Thread

Hell yeah, one of my favorite comics. I started buying them again when my daughter was younger and I tried getting her into comics. It lasted about a year for her and I ended up with about 2.5 boxes full for me. Mostly the incredible hulk starting from the 70’s and on. It’s been a while since I pulled any out to read. Gonna have to change that. 😂

I fell off the wagon.

I'll carry a LG tomorrow, I double swear.

For some reason unknown to me these 12 days Talos’ may have lost there shine, regardless I absolutely love this thing.

They haven’t lost their shine in my eyes! I think many of the people who sold theirs might come to regret it. Only 23 were ever made, which is far fewer than the more popular 12 Days Intrepid VECP.

Necroanax Necroanax do you know how many of the 12 days VECP’s were made by chance?
It depends what you mean by 12 Days VECPs since a handful from that hand ground Intrepid batch were sold at shows. If I recall correctly, DLT got ~34 of them, with another half dozen or so sold at shows, some with milled, lasered, or DLC scales.

Thanks for the info. I was referring to the Intrepid VECPs that were sold through DLT. I didn’t realize others were sold at shows that were more or less part of this batch
There were VERY few sold outside of that DLT batch, which makes them all the more special. Even with all the stellar customs Smythes_Knives Smythes_Knives owns, I know that bronzed beauty is one of his very favorites!

Were you referring to lost their shine as in the blade etching fading or value dropping?
Value dropping.
I know the price went a little high on the secondary from the original DLT price but there have been a few that sat longer than I expected before selling leading me to think the shine has worn off. Not the actual etching on the blade.
