Value dropping.
I know the price went a little high on the secondary from the original DLT price but there have been a few that sat longer than I expected before selling leading me to think the shine has worn off. Not the actual etching on the blade.

Got ya, I was actually surprised they got as high as they did. Considering the intrepid vecp was going for around $800+. I think that value was driven by all those that missed out on the drop and had to have one.

Also the guy that bought the first one for $950 was a big time buyer at the time. He was paying top dollar for everything and single handily was keeping the LG market inflated. Once people saw that one go for that much, more became available cause people were cashing in.

Fortunately for those still chasing the LG market has finally cooled down and there are now some great deals to be had.

Back in 2018, the Solvang Knife Show was the kind of place I could only dream about. Invite-only, ultra-prestigious, and loaded with high-end art knives well beyond my budget. Somehow, years later, a kind soul from the knife world reached out to me, and this Rockeye made it into my hands.

Some of the features include:

• Chad Nichols Boomerang Damascus blade
• Copper pivot collar
• Large Mokume inlays on both the show and lock sides
• Milled titanium pocket clip
• Moku-Ti backspacer

I may still be a North Dakota hayseed who’s not classy enough for Solvang, but I’m damn happy to own a piece from it.

That is a rad 0920 - the stubs are a nice homage to the very first Harpies!

They haven’t lost their shine in my eyes! I think many of the people who sold theirs might come to regret it. Only 23 were ever made, which is far fewer than the more popular 12 Days Intrepid VECP.

I am certainly holding onto mine very tightly!

Flipper Friday! One thing I really enjoy about the LG ZTs is that they compliment the LGs. By that I mean that they don't make the LGs feel cheap by comparison like the Emerson ZTs. If you have handled a 0620/30/40 you know what I mean . Day 17!

Whoa whoa whoa….making the Emerson’s feel cheap! That cuts deep!

And it would be the opposite way around, the LGs make the ZTs feel cheap!

I definitely do and trust me I know exactly what ya mean. But calling them users instead of cheap just hurts less and sounds better.

Day 17!

A fraggin favorite of mine with some P. Grey love!

Hell yeah, one of my favorite comics. I started buying them again when my daughter was younger and I tried getting her into comics. It lasted about a year for her and I ended up with about 2.5 boxes full for me. Mostly the incredible hulk starting from the 70’s and on. It’s been a while since I pulled any out to read. Gonna have to change that.

Heh, I’ve got like 25 long boxes of various runs at my storage unit, one day I’ll have room for them again!!!

That’s awesome, probably some valuable books stashed in those boxes. When I started reading them again as an adult I was surprised how deep n complex the story lines were. Now I get why I was more about the art then the stories. No way I could follow that as a kid.
