The Les George Knives Thread

Keeping the Damascus Morph Button Lock theme going for the weekend…

This is from the original batch that Les did for DLT. It is spectacular. Probably the best example of raindrop damascus I’ve ever encountered.

One of my favorite knives and one of my favorite pictures! Have a great Sunday 🤙

You’ll be bending the knee to King George one day soon. It is the way! 😂
I can assure you that you are mistaken, my friend.

In my 20's I was working for the old Abercrombie & Fitch, (the one that outfitted the rich and famous for expeditions), and some member of some European royal family was on our sales floor to purchase something or other.

The armed escort approached me and told me that I would have to address the prince, princess, whatever as "such and such" and I told him to find another salesperson as I was an American and didn't address anyone as "Your royal" anything.

Ask Katharine Hepburn (too late now) about my feelings about "royalty". LOL.

Day 7: Safe Queen Sunday

Bringing some heat on the final day of our first challenge week with what I believe to be the most opulent mid-tech that Les ever made: the full dress version of the Defiant 7 Hyrax.

Here's my safe queen Sunday entry. Literally the first time I've carried it since acquisition. Mint condition and I have the original box and docs!
